Design Thinking Process:Prototyping and Testing Our Solutions

• To test, review and improve on oursolutions

• Similar to the interview phase, webrought our solutions out to obtainfeedback from internal stakeholders(e.g. pupils, teachers, canteen vendors, elderly cleaners)

Challenges We Faced And Solutions

Challenge: We suggested many different activities

and could not decide which activities to choose.

Solution: We used criteria setting to find out which

activity was suitable for the event and wrote down

the pros and cons of the various activities.

Page 25: VIA Team Student-Leadership: Building Community Spirit (BCS) BCS 2018 v5.pdfVIA Team Student-Leadership: Building Community Spirit (BCS) Natasya Lim Kai Suen (5 Respect) Ashley Ng

Challenges We Faced And Solutions

Challenge: When we first started the project, we could

not focus properly and kept talking about irrelevant

stuff.

Solution: We realised that we were going off task and

started to remind each other to put first thing first.

Feedback from Participants

A good show and project by

the primary school students.

Page 35: VIA Team Student-Leadership: Building Community Spirit (BCS) BCS 2018 v5.pdfVIA Team Student-Leadership: Building Community Spirit (BCS) Natasya Lim Kai Suen (5 Respect) Ashley Ng

Keeping this in mind, we will share this data for the next team

which is going to plan any community project in the near future

The data reminds us to focus on what the participants want,

rather than what is convenient to us

Did not have to apply and use funds under the HDB FFLP

(up to $1000)

Used resources and funds provided during Project Work

Did all of the preparation and printing in school during PW period

Saved money by decorating our booths instead of paying external

vendors to do it for us

Cost Savings
