Vincent Van Duysen naci en Lokeren en Blgica en 1962. Cuado se gradu como arquitecto en 1985, fu a Miln a trabajar con Cinzia Ruggeri y con Aldo Cibic-Sottsass Associati.En 1990 abri su propio estudio de arquitectura en Amberes.Ahora mismo Vicent Van Duysen trabaja con 15 colaboradores. Su equipo multidisciplinar realiza todo tipo de proyectos, no slo en Blgica, sino tambin en Londres, Miln, Pars, Nueva York, Beirut, y Arabia Saud. La mayo-ria son proyectos interiores, conversiones y nuevos edificios, casas unifamiliares, complejos de apartamentos, oficinas y tiendas. La filosofa subyacente es la atencin escrupulosa a la percepcin individual del espacio. Adems, el arquitecto tambin es conocido por sus pequeos objetos y los muebles que desarroll para, entre otros, B&B Italia, Swarovski, Bulo, Brix, Tribu, WOW, Poliform, VICCARBE, Valli & Valli, Arflex, modular, Toscoquattro,Obumex, Pastoe y de Padova. Entre otros premios en 2009, Vincent Van Duysen fue proclamadoDiseador del Ao 2009 durante la Maison & Objet en Pars. Es nombrado en numerosos libros, revistas y exposiciones de prestigio en todo el mundo y fue objeto de dos monografas. El primero fue publicado en 2001 por la Editorial GG espaola y la segunda en 2011 por Thames & Hudson.
