INCENTIVES: When you decide to locate, expand or retain your business in
Anna, you will encounter a wide variety of valuable economic
development incentives. Based on your specific
circumstances, we will tailor a package of incentives designed
to help you. We will facilitate meetings with City of Anna
officials to discuss tax abatements, 380 agreements, Tax
Increment Financing, the Freeport Exemption process, and
other economic development incentives.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
SUCCESS: The Anna Economic Development Corporation (EDC) works
in cooperation with the Community Development Corporation
to coordinate efforts that expand the city's business tax base
with a focus on creating primary jobs within the City of Anna.
The corporations have provided incentives that resulted in
much of the retail development that has occurred in Anna
since 2008. The EDC was instrumental in recruiting
Brookshires Grocery Company, CVS pharmacy, and
McDonalds. The EDC has also recruited 2 technology based
companies - Image Vision a growing software engineering
company and Nimbix a high tech cloud computing. The EDC
has also purchased and remodeled the Old Post Office
located in our downtown area which now serves as office
space for Image Vision.
