Video Game Development Level 1 In partnership with DigiPen Institute of Technology, the Mercer Island School District will offer this two-week summer workshop. It is ideal for students in grades 8-12 who want to make a 2D video game idea into a reality. This workshop examines basic programming techniques, but also looks at the other disciplines needed to create a game, including game design, art production, and sound design.

You will gain not only a new appreciation for the hard work that went into making your favorite games, but also the tools to start bringing your own game ideas to life.
