What Is Needed For Validating Video?
Validating video requires the use of Screen Rectangle checking to
provide a visual check of dynamic output.

On the eValid Toolbars, review
the Synchronization area in
Settings > Record/Play Advanced
Preferences

Click Synchronization
. Of particular importance are
the Retry Interval , and the
Max. Retry Time.

The Retry Interval,
determines the interval that eValid tries to match the screen rectangle.

The Max. Retry Time, sets an upper threshold for the amount of time spent looking for the match.

Step 3 of 6When you have
reached a point in the video that is stationary
for at least one second, perform a screen rectangle validation using
Record > Validate > & Synchronize >
Screen Rectangle.

Click in the upper left
portion of the area you want to
validate, and then in the
lower right portion.

The rectangle encapsulates your selected data screen as shown in the screenshot to
the left.

each attempt by eValid to match
the screen rectangle content.
