high demand for high-quality educational services. This is why BiM - Bildung im Mittelpunkt is now for the first time organising a holiday childcare programme for the autumn break from Tuesday, October 27 to November 2, 2020 based on the model of the Summer City Camps on behalf of the city: The Vienna Autumn Camps.

The Vienna Autumn camps are open to all school-age children and adolescents from the ages of 6 to 14 years who are not cared for at campus locations or receive after school care. The care takes place at 30 freely selectable school locations in Vienna.

The offer is based on the individual interests and needs of the children and young people. Detailed information on the various programmes for children, adolescents and children with disabilities can be found on the holiday platform of the City of Vienna under www.ferieninwien.at.

When do the Vienna Autumn Camps take place?From Tuesday, October 27th to November 2nd, you can have your child looked after all day on a weekly basis from 08.00am to 17.00hrs. In addition, early childcare from 07.15 a.m. and late childcare until 17.30hrs is available at all locations (advance reservation is required!).

At which locations does the care take place?All locations throughout Vienna are listed in detail on the holiday plat-form of the City of Vienna under www.ferieninwien.at

Who can take part?The offer applies to all school-age children in Vienna aged 6 to 14 who live in Vienna and are not already cared for at campus locations or receive after-school care.

How much do the Vienna Autumn Camps cost?The cost per child is 50 Euro per week including lunch. For the second and third sibling the cost is 25 Euro each. Participation is free of charge for the fourth child onwards. Likewise, children in primary care and the means tested minimum income scheme can use the offer free of charge. For this purpose, you must present the assessment for the means tested minimum income scheme or proof of asylum seeker status when you register.

What can my child expect in the care?Your child can expect an exciting, varied and educationally high-qua-lity programme at the Vienna Autumn Camps. The childcare includes excursions, a variety of activities and a focus on specific topics.

Who will look after my child?Care is provided by the experienced recreational educationalists of the BiM - Bildung im Mittelpunkt GmbH, which has been organising and designing recreational educational offers for children in the con-text of day care and holiday care at public schools in Vienna on behalf of the City of Vienna for more than 20 years. The care for children with severe disabilities is provided by the special care of the Wiener Kinderfreunde.
