17 th July 2017 Dear Parents I wanted to write to you to explain some changes we have planned for September. After a lot of reflection and planning, I have made the decision to cease being the Keyperson for the ‘Blue group’. The main and most important thinking behind this is; I do not believe it is fair that children build up a strong attachment with me as their Keyperson and have to put up with me not always being available! As the management role has developed over the last few years it requires me to be out of preschool for meetings etc. alongside manage the day to day running. The parent committee are supporting me with this change to enable me to be I hope a more effective manager. I really love the opportunity I have had to build strong relationships with a key group but believe I need to be able to support all children in our preschool and staff team. Therefore, Stacey Cole will now be the ‘blue group’ Keyperson working alongside Aly with our buddy system. As a result of this Natasha Wright will be taking on the shared Green group Keyperson role with Debbie working alongside Lynne in our buddy system. If you wish to talk to me further about this or if you have concerns please do not hesitate to come and chat to me. We look forward to seeing you in September. Thank you, Kind regards Holbrook Primary School, Holbrook Lane, Trowbridge, Wiltshire. BA14 0PS. Tel: 01225 774478 [email protected] k Charity number: 1016250
