The second collection next weekend will be for the Catholic Education Service. The CES acts on behalf of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference to support Catholic education. They have a strong and positive working relationshipwith the British and Welsh governments, sharing the aims of high academic standards for all, and increased parental choice. The CES is the chief negotiating and advisory body on matters affecting all aspects of Catholic education, and it also provides financial assistance for school transport in rural areas.
MINISTERS DAYMinisters of the Eucharist and Ministers of the Word are reminded of the forthcoming event on the 9th September. You should all have received an email with details of the day, if you have not, please email the office.
DAY OF RENEWALAylesford Priory are holding a Day of Renewal on Saturday 9th September, with speakers Duncan Mitchell and Istvan Ferenczy from The Cor Et lumen Christi Community. Beginning at 9.30am concluding with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 4.15pm. RIDE & STRIDE FOR CHURCHESThis year's Ride & Stride takes place on 9th September 2017, anyone who is willing to volunteer to be a "recorder" on the day please add your name to the list in the porch.
