INTRODUCTION OF MULTI LEVEL SECURITY SYSTEM (MLS)

Protecting sensitive or confidential data is paramount in many businesses. In the event such information is made public, businesses may face legal or financial ramifications. Having information of different security levels on the same computer systems poses a real threat. It is not a straight-forward matter to separate different information security levels, even though different users log in using different accounts, with different permissions and different access controls. But still A mechanism is required to enable users at different security levels to access systems simultaneously, without fear of information contamination1.

EXPLANATION:

This model specifies how information can flow within the system based on labels. Under such a system, users, computers, and networks use labels to indicate security levels. Data can flow between like levels, for example between "Secret" and "Secret", or from a lower level to a higher level. This means that users at level "Secret" can share data with one another, and can also retrieve information from Confidential-level (i.e., lower-level), users. However, data cannot flow from a higher level to a lower level. This prevents processes at the "Secret" level from viewing information classified as "Top Secret". It also prevents processes at a higher level from accidentally writing information to a lower level. This is referred to as the "no read up, no write down" model.

CONCLUSION: Where as Some organizations go as far as to purchase dedicated systems for each security level. This is often prohibitively expensive, however. A mechanism is required to enable users at different security levels to access systems simultaneously, without fear of information contamination

INTRODUCTION OF BANKING INFORMATION SYSTEM This system is developed to help customers in order to transfer their funds or withdraw from their own account or deal with finance. This system provides them proper security while interacting with people on the bases of accepting or lending.

EXPLANATION: Above data flow diagram of banking system defines that banks can not run without proper system. For example customer writes cheque to withdraw the sum from his account and present it to cashier. Cashier after making proper verification of his signatures debits his account by the same sum written on the cheque and pay him the sum. If transaction or sum is more than cashiers limit second person is involved being a supervisor who too makes proper verification and supervises the transaction in order to make the payment. And customer in return can check his balance by making inquiry of his balance or by issuing bank statement to know that which sum is withdrawn on which date. But for knowledge statement can not show the withdrawn sum of a particular date on which statement is issued. He can see that transaction in the very next date, why because system updates transaction on the next date in accounts.

SUMMING UP: In short we can say that information system plays a paramount role in banking sector too.

INTRODUCTION OF HOTEL RESERVATION SYSTEM Efficient management of hotels can be possible through systems.It comprises of various modules like the internet reservation software, the guest management system, reservation system, billing system, maintain check in and check- out records etc. They have proper softwares to entertain clients and these softwares are not very expensive one to be installed. It could even be used by small business houses or hotels and motels to improve their operational efficiency. Its overall management is easy and customer friendly1.

EXPLANATION: As diagram shows that the proper system is used in Hotel for reservation.For example customers can book a room in hotel from telephone or internet which ever facility is given by them, makes the payment if he is able to reserve a room or a hotel for an event.After going through all process of reservation when customer enters the hotel proper respect/protocol/greeting is given to him. On seeing the board of reception he will quickly know that I will get further information from reception. And the assigned staff can get a quick view from his system and come to know that whether any room is reserved by him or not and conveys the same to him by giving him keys of his room.Further they are given proper room services (dinner or lunch, cleaning, calling etc) and they are entertained as per their saying.

CONCLUSION: So this shows that hotel has also proper system through which they entertain their clients. Because clients are valued for every organization, they are the source of earnings so no one likes to lose their clients by irritating or by not providing them proper facilities.

INTRODUCTION OF STUDENT RESERVATION SYSTEM

It is a system developed to manage students in education sector.Systems provide capabilities for entering student test and other assessment scores through an electronic grade book, building student schedules, tracking student attendance, and managing many other student-related data needs in a school, college or university.

EXPLANATION: As diagram shows that there is a proper system for students too. While applying students have to go through from a proper process or system as diagram explains in 1.0 that they have to submit application for registration, have to pay official fee as shown in 2.0, get exam schedule from office and after giving exams they inquire for their results which is displayed or given by the exam result inquiry office or from internet which ever is being given by the institution, after that College interview begins which is being conducted by student assessment office last but not the least they have to go through from medical test.

CONCLUSION: In short we can say that every department needs proper system to run their organization/Institution. Because without system no one can get the exact or proper information regarding their issue. Same like in above case there are lot and lot of students who are going to apply for admission and if there will be no proper system how could they know that which route or track will be best for them whether it is getting application form or whether it is getting result of their exams.So we can say that information system plays a vital role in any organization for giving their clients/students right information.
