1. Nominees for Excellence in Early Career Research Award must address the following criteria for assessment. Nominations will be assessed on evidence provided in relation to the criteria.
i. Research significance — describe how the research aligns Research Plan 2015-2017 with at least one of the Research themes:
a. Environmental Sustainability: Climate, Agriculture and Resourcesb. Education: Access, Equity, Pathways and Aspirational Changec. Health and Well Being: Translation, Service and Innovationd. Urban Living and Society: People, Culture, Economy, and Built

ii. Research excellence — Include evidence of the quality of the research, i.e. details of all publications, research quality metrics to be included here. E.g. citations

iii. Network building — Demonstrate evidence of building peer and external collaboration networks, as well as evidence of community outreach as it relates to your research discipline.
iv. Potential impacts — Outline the impact, or potential impact, and benefits of the research
