The FALL of Babylon AND RESTORATION OF ISRAEL

Part I: prophecies in Daniel

9/26/2014—6:00 PM CDT

Song: Redeem the Time

For the first part of this evening, we’re going to be running to and fro in the book of Daniel, for the purpose of finding other witnesses of the sheba, or 2520, prophecy that leads to the coming out of Babylon. After break, we will run to and fro in the book of Ezekiel and find his very fascinating witness, which also points down to our time through the seven months.

We do not have time to cover all the stories of Daniel, and most of us should be fairly familiar with them already. So let’s start in Daniel 4 where Nebuchadnezzar has his second dream, the first being the statue portraying four kingdoms that would scatter Isra-El. This was the curse of the sheba upon Isra-El as well as the ultimate destruction of Babylon, as the stone struck the image and the beginning of the kingdom of the Almighty. That first vision set the stage for the rest of the prophecies of Daniel. Now this second vision Nebuchadnezzar had is a type of the sheba, during which the four kingdoms of his first dream would reign. Let’s read it together; this is Scene One…

Dan.4:10 I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof [was] great.

4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:

4:12 The leaves thereof [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.

4:13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

4:14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:

4:15 Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts in the grass of the earth:

Page 2: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

4:16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him: and let seven times pass over him.

4:17 This matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Friends, this vision has deep significance that we have not been mining from. The tree represents Isra-El. The fruit it bore was meat for all flesh—that is, Isra-El was to bear the fruit of the glory of YaHuWaH, that all the earth may come and be blessed and learn of the Most High. This was His ideal for Isra-El. But then came the curse. The fruit was scattered, thus representing the scattering of Isra-El, whose portion would be with the beasts, or kingdoms, of this earth. But Isra-El was not destroyed. The stump of the roots would remain until the revival after the curse ended—“even with a band of iron and brass”. Wow! This is the same language we found in Leviticus 26—the scattering, and the iron and the brass (which stands for Rome and its forerunner of Greece), and then the SEVEN TIMES, or years, passing over! Amazing!

Thus Nebuchadnezzar stood for the people of Isra-El. His portion was with the beasts, or worldly kingdoms, until the seven times had passed over. And here is how it came about: “The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?” (v. 30). Does this not sound like old covenant language to you?—Where man works in place of the Almighty? And is this not what Isra-El wanted? Recall this?: “Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations” (1 Samuel 8:5). That is what they wanted and that is what they got: the curse of man working and ruling in place of the Almighty. And so their portion was with the beasts, as we see in Daniel’s subsequent visions. But then listen to Nebuchadnezzar’s revival after the passing of the seven years, a type of Isra-El’s revival (that is to be us) after the passing of the sheba, even after the seven months’ extension leading to our generation…

Dan.

4:34 And at the end of the days (the seven years) I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honoured Him that liveth for ever, Whose dominion [is] an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom [is] from generation to generation:

4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth [are] reputed as nothing: and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven, and [among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest thou?

4:36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.

Page 3: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all Whose works [are] truth, and His ways judgment: and those that walk in pride He is able to abase.

Wonderful! HalleluYah! And so this will be fulfilled in antitype by the 144,000. After the sheba, and the seven months of long tarrying due to our insubordination of pride, our reason is now returning unto us and we are in the process of being established in our ancient kingdom of Isra-El, by the proclamation of the gospel of the everlasting covnenant—where all the Law is restored, particularly the blessed Fourth Commandment which is now being proclaimed more fully. When the 144,000 keep the Law in its fullness, they will act in the coronation of Yahushua, the King of heaven, “all Whose works are truth, and His ways judgment.” His priestly ministry will thus come to an end, for no more sins will need to be atoned for as they received His refreshing at the very close of His ministry. What a wonderful reality we have before us!

Now let’s make our way to Scene 2 in the drama of Daniel. This scene, rather than portraying the breadth of the seven prophetic years of Israel’s scattering, points to the end of it and the fall of Babylon. It is too long to read all of it but let me refresh your memory. Belshazzar, the grandson of Nebuchadnezzar, was king and took the gold and silver vessels that had been used in the temple of the Almighty. He used it to serve wine at a hilarious feast, thus mocking the Most High as they served the Pagan gods. Then, behold: “In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another” (Daniel 5:4, 5). The writing on the wall was not understood, so Daniel interpreted it, at least for the type (because there is an antitype we are interested in).

Dan.

5:25 And this [is] the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

5:26 This [is] the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

5:27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

The fulfillment of the type was immediate. It was at the end of the 70 years prescribed by the Almighty to Babylon, and the kingdom was given over to the Medes and Persians. But there is more meaning here to discover. A Chaldean TEKEL is the same as a Hebrew shekel. A Chaldean MENE is the same as a Hebrew maneh. So the people at the banquet knew what the words were; they were familiar standards of measurement. And UPHARSIN, as Daniel interpreted, means to divide—usually in half, just as Babylon was split into two formerly separate kingdoms. But why would the Almighty use units of measurement? The most logical reason would be to denote time. But why would time matter when the kingdom was immediately coming to an end? It must be for the antitype—the type being the 70 years of ancient Babylon’s kingdom ending.

Page 4: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

So let’s plug in the math. Here it is…According to Exodus 38, there are 50 shekels in a Hebrew mina. Therefore, just using this data, using shekels as the base, we have 50 + 50 + 1 + 25 (the dividing, or half). That adds up to 126 years. But is there any second witness to this time period in the Bible? None. Therefore, it somehow must be extended somehow. And I’ll tell you how…A shekel is not the smallest unit of weight; like our penny, a gerah is; and there are 20 gerahs in a shekel. So if we use gerahs instead for our base, everything would multiply by 20.Thus, instead of the 50 + 50 + 1 + 25 shekels we would have 1000 + 1000 + 20 + 500 gerahs. Now, do the math, what do you get? WOW!So far we have two Daniel witnesses of the 2520. Nebuchadnezzar’s 2,520 days, or 7 years, and now 2520 using measures of currency for time. And the handwriting on the wall carries us down to the end of the sheba, when the pope was taken captive, thus ending Papal Babylon’s supremacy. But that is not all. When the timing of the curse ended, the Papacy and the kingdoms of this world were not destroyed. That is why we have Ezekiel’s seven-month extension to it that we will examine during our next hour. Because of the insubordination of the Advent people, we are still subject to the powers of this world. We failed to walk in increased light, but now that we are in the last generation pointed to by the seven prophetic months following the seven prophetic years, that will all change. We are here gathered together to fulfill all prophecy, even the fall of Babylon and the rise of the everlasting kingdom of the YaHuWaH. Babylon will fall when her sins come to an end in us—and this by the revelation of our Great Sacrifice in heaven, that we will begin to eat next hour, but much more fully at our Feast of Tabernacles.

Thus, the handwriting on the wall brings us to the fall of Babylon, which began in 1798 at the end of Israel’s sheba, and continued with the proclamation of the Second Angel’s Message which came in 1844 at the end of Judah’s sheba, and will be culminated in our final generation which began in 2008—the seven month extension to Israel’s sheba. Again, this is when the Second Angel’s Message is proclaimed the second time as we see in Revelation 18 as part of the Loud Cry—even the Cry to come out of all of Babylon’s sins by the blood of the Lamb. And these sins include things under the Fourth Commandment that we never realized before such as the changing of times of laws and taking away the daily to set up of the abomination which prevents us from seeing the Lamb of the Almighty that taketh away all our sins. Ultimately, the result will be rest from all sin, thus crumbling the kingdom of Babylon, not just wounding it, but breaking it into pieces so that it will never rise up a second time.

Now let’s go to our third scene in the drama of Daniel, which will encompass visions and prayers that Daniel had…

Keep in mind that even though we are going forward in the book of Daniel, we are going backward in time. To save time, we are going to skip over Daniel’s first vision in Chapter 7 and go to his second one in Chapter 8—an extremely important vision. But something that is very peculiar about it is that two different Chaldean

Page 5: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

words are used for ‘vision’. One is ‘châzôn’ and the other is ‘mareh’. We have overlooked this, but now it is time to dig deeper.

First Daniel sees two beasts and one that grows out a little horn that grows very long, representing Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. That horn is Rome—specifically Papal Rome—and the big issue is the taking away of the ‘daily’ and replacing it with the transgression, or abomination, of desolation. Now we don’t have time to go into the whole daily debate, but after much study I’ve come to believe that the ‘daily’ is the daily ministration of Christ in the Heavenly Sanctuary. He fulfills the antitype of the typical earthly sanctuary system that Israel had, which had many daily services associated with it. This is the actual atonement for our individual sins as we confess them to Him and the Father. And notice that the beasts used in this chapter are a ram and a goat, which are sacrificial animals. So the taking away of the daily is the taking away of Christ’s ministration in the Heavenly Sanctuary through false doctrines of Rome, which all originated from Greek Paganism where she rose out of.

Rome replaced the atonement of the Anointed One in heaven with a human-atonement system. And this is the great abomination. Sunday sacredness, the primary law of time that was changed as covered in Daniel’s first vision, is the sign of man’s authority to perform this great abomination. It is where popes and priests take the place of Christ for our atonement. In fact, the word ‘anti’ in ‘antichrist’ means to take the place of. So, Papal Rome, the antichrist system, tried to take the place of Christ for atonement. And this only added sin unto sin, and it is blasphemy against the Great Almighty. Instead of making sin terribly offensive, as the blood of the Anointed One does, sin was made into an economy, where indulgences were offered for sins, thus pouring money into Rome to make her more and more rich; and to make her drunken with blood, souls that protested these horrendous policies were put to death. What a horrible abomination!—all in the name of man taking the place of our dear Saviour Who wants to free us from our sins that are destroying us, by the shedding of His own precious blood. And that is the background for the ‘châzôn’ vision.

Now listen to the words of Daniel: “Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto the Wonderful Numberer (Palmoni in Chaleen) which spake, ‘How long shall be the ‘châzôn’ concerning the daily, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the Sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?” Keep in mind that the Wonderful Numberer, the same One Whose hand cryptically wrote the 2520 on the wall, is Yahushua, the Anointed One. He Himself would answer this all important question—the answer that would be the foundation for the entire Adventist movement. Also keep in mind that the Sanctuary referred to is the Heavenly Sanctuary. So in Daniel’s vision, an angel, probably Gabriel, asked the Messiah how long His Sanctuary would be trodden under foot by reason of the daily being taken away, during the time which He was to minister there by His own blood. Here is our most precious Saviour’s reply: “Unto two thousand and three

Page 6: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

hundred days: then shall the Sanctuary be cleansed” (the infamous Daniel 8:14). The Heavenly Sanctuary would be polluted by our sins entering there as long replaced the only remedy with blasphemy and lies. But after 2300 years (day-for-a-year-principle), then the Sanctuary could be cleansed from our sins and this awful abomination that kept us sinning without a Remedy—even the precious atonement of Yahushua, the Anointed One. Yet, we know that because of that seven month extension, this couldn’t happen overnight. There is much Babylon to come out of, even in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Every time we sin, we are under the spirit of Babylon.

Continuing the text in Daniel: “It came to pass when I, even I Daniel, had seen the ‘châzôn’, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. (This is none other than our beloved Saviour) … which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the meaning of the ‘mareh’” (vs. 15, 16). Interesting, there’s the first mention of the ‘mareh’ vision. Daniel had already seen the ‘‘châzôn’ but now Yahushua tells Gabriel to make known to Daniel the ‘mareh’. A couple more clues are given regarding these contrasting visions. Gabriel tells Daniel, “For at (or until) the time of the end shall be the ‘châzôn’ … Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be” (vs. 17, 19). One more clue and then let’s start to solve this cryptic mystery of the ‘châzôn’ and ‘mareh’…

“And the ‘mareh’ of the evening and the morning (the 2300 years) which was told is true; wherefore shut thou up the ‘châzôn’; for it shall be for many days (or prophetic years). And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I arose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the mareh, [but there was no understanding]” (vs. 26, 27). Daniel fainted because he saw that the end of the dreadful indignation would last for over 2300 years into the future. And Chapter 11 tells us that the ‘indignation’ is “against the holy covenant … when they shall pollute the Sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate” (11: 30, 31). Remember, the everlasting covenant is the end of sins, and it is performed by our Saviour in the Heavenly Sanctuary of strength, by making atonement for our sins as His Holy Spirit purges them from us. The indignation is the abomination that is set up against this to replace this. And “the time of the end”, also called “the last end of the indignation”, is the last end of prophetic time: the last 46-year interval that lies between the end of Israel’s sheba in 1798 and the end of Judah’s sheba in 1844. It is very interesting to note that there are exactly 50 of these 46-year periods in the 2300 years (50 x 46 = 2300). Our Polmoni, even our Wonderful Numberer, designed it this way. Thus, the time of the end is a 46-year period that closes prophetic time, not time itself. And this would be the period that Daniel would stand as early Adventists such as William Miller searched to and fro in the Scriptures to discover these very prophecies pointing to the very end of it, 1844.

Page 7: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

So, what is the ‘châzôn’ and what is the ‘mareh’? I’d like to bring before you that the ‘châzôn’ is the curse of the sheba (testified by Israel) and the ‘mareh’ is the cure of the curse (testified by Judah). The ‘mareh’ is identified with the 2300 years which leads to the cleansing of the Sanctuary, whereas the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson revelation of the Lamb in the Sanctuary that does the cleansing. The ‘châzôn’ would be for ‘many days’ (which are ‘many years’), thus delaying the ‘mareh’, the cleansing cure; and this is why Daniel fainted and became very ill. He had always thought that just after the 70 years of Babylonian captivity the restoration would come. But now he is faced with the 2300 years. This ultimately led him to do some studying, and this led Him to discover the sheba, which he later prays about. Let’s listen to this prayer and we read and discuss the whole of Daniel Chapter 9…

9:1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;

9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books (the Scriptures) the number of the years, whereof the word of YaHuWaH (the LORD) came to Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

9:3 And I set my face unto YaHuWaH the Almighty (the Lord God), to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

9:4 And I prayed unto YaHuWaH my Elohim (the LORD my God), and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful Almighty (God), keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His commandments;

9:5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Thy precepts and from Thy judgments:

9:6 Neither have we hearkened unto Thy servants the prophets, which spake in Thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

9:7 O Lord, righteousness [belongeth] unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, [that are] near, and [that are] far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

9:8 O Lord, to us [belongeth] confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

Page 8: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

9:9 To YaHuWaH our Elohim (the Lord our God) [belong] mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him;

9:10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of YaHuWaH our Elohim (the Lord our God), to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets.

9:11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed Thy Law, even by departing, that they might not obey Thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that [is] written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.

Brothers and sisters, the root word for the word ‘oath’ here is sheba! Daniel is referring to the sheba. From his studies he now recognizes that the curse of the sheba is poured upon Israel because they had transgressed the Law of the Almighty and thus received the curse of captivity and scattering instead of being the blessing of the world that YaHuWaH had intended them to be. He realizes a connection between the 2520 and 2300 years but it still is not clear; that is why Gabriel must later explain the ‘merah’ to him which will solve the dilemma. Let’s continue…

9:12 And He hath confirmed His words, which He spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

9:13 As [it is] written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer YaHuWaH our Elohim (the Lord our God), that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand Thy truth.

9:14 Therefore hath YaHuWaH (the LORD) watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for YaHuWaH our Elohim (the Lord our God) [is] righteous in all His works which He doeth: for we obeyed not His voice.

9:15 And now, O Lord our Elohim (God), that hast brought Thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten Thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

9:16 O Lord, according to all Thy righteousness, I beseech Thee, let Thine anger and Thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Thy people [are become] a reproach to all [that are] about us.

9:17 Now therefore, O our Elohim (God), hear the prayer of Thy servant, and his supplications, and cause Thy face to shine upon Thy Sanctuary that is desolate, for YaHuWaH’s (the Lord's) sake.

Page 9: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

9:18 O my Elohim (God), incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by Thy name: for we do not present our supplications before Thee for our righteousnesses, but for Thy great mercies.

9:19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my Elohim (God): for Thy city and Thy people are called by Thy name.

What a prayer! Perhaps this is the kind of prayer we need for the full revival of Isra-El in this final generation.

9:20 And whiles I [was] speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before YaHuWaH my Elohim (the LORD my God) for the holy mountain of my Elohim (God);

9:21 Yea, whiles I [was] speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the ‘châzôn’ at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

9:22 And he informed [me], and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

9:23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to show [thee]; for thou [art] greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the ‘mareh’.

Here it is, friends. Here is the mareh. You already knew it, but did not know what it is called. Or did you know it? You thought you knew it, but you will discover much more as we do more digging in this mine of truth together…

9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, (Okay, that is the timing aspect; but now we are going to read the purpose of the ‘mareh’. This is what we have been missing. Listen…)To finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the ‘châzôn’ and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.

Wow! Are you seeing this in a whole new light? Do you see that the purpose of the ‘mareh’ is for the end of sin to bring in everlasting righteousness, and that this was by no means fulfilled in 31 AD, except for the very last part? What is the ‘mareh’? It is the cleansing from all sin. The Fountain for this cleansing was opened at Calvary, but its purpose is yet to be fulfilled; the Sanctuary of strength still remains to be cleansed of our sins because we are still partaking in the sins of Babylon. Before the spear was thrust into our Saviour’s side, he was crowned with a crown of thorns, which along with His stripes given to Him, made blood run down Him. This was His anointing as future king; His eternal kingdom was founded upon His humility and Sacrifice, symbolized by the crown of thorns. He was then coronated as ‘King of the Jews’. But He cannot in actuality take on His

Page 10: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

position as King until the Most Holy Place of the Sanctuary is cleansed from sin. His own blood that anointed Him as King at Calvary is the blood that will anoint the Most Holy Place of the Sanctuary—cleansing both it and the entire universe from sin ever entering again. The anointing, or cleansing, has been taking place there for nearly 2000 years, to cover and cleanse sin, but this anointing will not have its desired effect until sin ceases to enter there by the final remnant. So, though cleansing atonement has taken place in the Sanctuary ever since the close of the 70 weeks of years, the Sanctuary still remains unclean. It has been purposed to be completely cleansed ever since the last end of the ‘châzôn’ ending in 1844, but this purpose has been left unfulfilled due to our continual commission of sins—and this due to our thinking still being polluted by Babylon, so that we cannot see our precious Lamb making atonement for us in heaven—even the ‘mareh’, our only expensive Remedy (and I say expensive because sin costs something, even the blood of the Lamb in the Most Holy)!

Let’s now read the rest of Chapter 9 with our new pair of glasses on...

9:25 Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war it shall be cut off by desolations.

9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

We should take special notice of the word ‘week’ in light of the context showing that the purpose and fulfillment of the ‘mareh’ extends well beyond the 70 weeks. It extends ‘until the consummation’—that is, the last end of indignation, being the 46 years that seals up the double ‘châzôn’ in 1798 and 1844. At that time “that determined shall be poured upon the desolator”. The taking of the pope captive to seal up the ‘châzôn’ so that the ‘mareh’ can be accomplished is what was determined by the Almighty. But please notice the connection here between the ‘week’, being the 70th week, and the sheba week. The 70th week, where the Fountain is opened for sin and for uncleanness (as seen in Zechariah 13:1), is part of the ‘mareh’, the cure, whereas the sheba week is part of the ‘châzôn’, or curse. As alluded to earlier in my discourse, both weeks are cut in half. For the curse, there are two desolating powers, or desolations, cut off from the whole; the latter one is the Papacy, which involves a flood of persecution against the saints. The

Page 11: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

former desolation, lasting for 1260 prophetic years, was the Pagan desolation against the earthly Sanctuary, which involved the 70 years in Daniel’s time as well as the one in 70 AD; the latter desolation, also lasting for 1260 prophetic years, was against the Heavenly Sanctuary by the Papacy. Likewise, the first 3 ½ literal years of Messiah’s week—the cure for the longer week—was His earthly ministry, and the last 3 ½ literal years was the first 3 ½ years of His heavenly ministry and the last 3 ½ years of probation for the nation of Israel, which, within one generation, would be destroyed by the curse. Very amazing stuff that our Maroni, our Wonderful Numberer, orchestrated.

In the end the ‘mareh’ will win over the ‘châzôn’. Babylon will fall and be broken in pieces, but not until we receive the ‘mareh’, which is the blood of the Lamb cleansing the Sanctuary from our sins, and in concert, by His merits, cleansing us from our sins through His Holy Spirit. The Fountain was opened at Calvary, but it’s outpouring of latter rain has yet to refresh us. But keep coming to these meetings and I believe YaHuWaH will send us a mighty outpouring. Babylon flooded us with persecution, but this Fountain will flood us with righteousness until Babylon, which lives in us as long as sin lives in us, will be destroyed. And thus will be fulfilled the purpose of the ‘mareh’:

“To finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the ‘châzôn’ and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy” (Daniel 9:27).

In summary, we have seen three witnesses in Daniel of the sheba curse and cure—which he called the ‘châzôn’ and ‘mareh’. First it was Nebuchadnezzar’s fall and restoration through the passing of seven literal years as a type. And we just got done seeing another seven literal years that pointed to the end of the seven prophetic years of the sheba. In between we deciphered the cryptic handwriting on the wall to be the sheba week, thus pointing to that determined blow to Babylon in 1798, and that in turn leading to her mortal blow when the Three Angel’s Messages, which started developing then, will climax in our generation to call everyone in the world out of Babylon before she is destroyed. She will then be destroyed. Where? In the hearts of the 144,000, thus making it possible for her physical destruction in the plagues.

Thus prophecy is being fulfilled right before our eyes. Behold: “Light and grace will be given to those who thus obey the Almighty (God). They will behold wondrous things out of His Law. Great truths that have lain unheeded and unseen since the day of Pentecost, are to shine from God's Word in their native purity. To those who truly love the Almighty (God) the Holy Spirit will reveal truths that have faded from the mind, and will also reveal truths that are entirely new. Those who eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of the Almighty (God) will bring from the books of

Daniel and Revelation truth that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. They will start into action forces that cannot be repressed” (Review and Herald, 8/17/1897).

It’s time to take a break, and when we return we will look at the fall and burial of Babylon through the perspective of Prophet Ezekiel. We will see a bit more what it means to eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of the Almighty. And we will also clearly see the seven-month extension leading to our very generation. Shalom.

The FALL of Babylon AND RESTORATION OF ISRAEL

Part II: prophecies in EZEKIEL

During this period we will study a special section out of the book of Ezekiel, starting with Chapter 33 and ending with Chapter 39, the climax. Let’s get right into it…

Chapters 34 and 36 cover the same pattern: the scattering of Israel, followed by a cleansing. This brings us right in where we left off in Daniel. There we were speaking of the cleansing of the Heavenly Sanctuary, but here we will be looking more at the cleansing of the saints on earth. But I hope you see that the cleansing of both work in concert as the cleansing Latter Rain from the Fountain of Life, even the Lamb we drink from.

Chapter 34 begins with a parable of shepherds and sheep, with the sheep being scattered due to the selfishness of the shepherds. Therefore, the scattered sheep become prey for the beasts, symbolizing the Pagan and Papal desolating kingdoms. But then follows the cleansing. Lets read it, keeping in mind it’s pointing to our very time…

Ezek.34:23 And I will set up one Shepherd over them, and He shall feed them, [even] My servant David (symbolizing the Messiah); He shall feed them, and He shall be their Shepherd.

34:24And I YaHuWaH (the LORD) will be their Elohim (God), and My servant David a prince among them; I YaHuWaH (the LORD) have spoken [it].

34:25And I will make with them a covenant of peace, (Wow!) and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

34:26And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. (This is the cleansing Latter Rain.)

Page 13: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

34:27And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD), when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

34:28And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make [them] afraid. (Thus the eternal Promised Land.)

Let’s now go to Ezekiel 36, where the cleansing becomes more explicit; remember the pattern: First the scattering, then the cleansing afterwards…

“I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them” (v. 19). Now let’s jump a few verses down…

36:23 And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH, saith the Lord YaHuWaH, (thus His great name is designated by His character) when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. (thus the ultimate goal of the great controversy.)

36:24For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. (thus the gathering after the scattering.)

36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. (Wow!)

36:26A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

36:27And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do [them]. (Remember, this is written for our very time; there are statutes that must be revived in us.)

36:28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people, and I will be your Elohim (God).

36:29I will also save you from all your uncleannesses (This sure sounds like New Covenant language to me.)

Now, let’s go to the next chapter (37), which sets the foundation for the rest of our study in Ezekiel…

Page 14: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

This chapter is known as ‘The Vision of the Dry Bones’. We will be looking at some other bones in chapter 39. Maybe you can already guess whose they are; but you’ll know when we get there. Let’s read this chapter in full...

Says Ezekiel37:1 The hand of YaHuWaH (the LORD) was upon me, and carried me out in the Spirit of YaHuWaH (the LORD), and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones,

37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, [there were] very many in the open valley; and, lo, [they were] very dry.

37:3 And He said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord YaHuWaH (Lord GOD), thou knowest.

37:4 Again He said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of YaHuWaH (the LORD).

37:5 Thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD) unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD).

37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but [there was] no breath in them.

37:9 Then said He unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

37:10So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. (even the army of Isra-El, which we are to be my friends)

37:11Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Isra-El: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

37:12Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. (even the everlasting Canaan, friends)

Page 15: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

37:13And ye shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD), when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

37:14And shall put My Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I YaHuWaH (the LORD) have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith YaHuWaH (the LORD).

So, these dry bones being raised up has a dual application. Firstly, it represents a revival of Isra-El. This revival takes place by returning to keeping all the Law, with its various statutes. But most importantly the revival comes by receiving the life of Yahushua in His fullness by eating His flesh and drinking His blood, as we will see in Ch. 39. The second application is obvious. After the faith of Isra-El has been revived in the 144,000, then all Isra-El—even the redeemed of all ages—can be resurrected from their graves.

Now let’s look at the rest of Ch. 37; same theme, different parable, keeping in mind that Joseph and Ephraim are the same and represent the Northern Kingdom of Isra-El compared to Judah…

37:15The word of YaHuWaH (the LORD) came again unto me, saying,

37:16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:

37:17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

37:18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not show us what thou [meanest] by these?

37:19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

37:20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

37:21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); Behold, I will take the children of Isra-El from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

37:22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Isra-El; and one King shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

Page 16: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

37:23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their Elohim (God). (This is the new and everlasting covenant, my friends, brought about the the cleansing Latter Rain.)

37:24And David My Servant (hence, the Messiah) [shall be] king over them; and they all shall have one Shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them.

37:25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and My Servant David [shall be] their Prince for ever.

37:26 Moreover I will make a Covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

37:27My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their Elohim (God), and they shall be My people.

37:28And the heathen shall know that I YaHuWaH (the LORD) do sanctify Isra-El, when My sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

The stage is set. We have seen the gathering of the bones, and then the joining of two sticks, which stand for Isra-El and Judah, into one stick, which represents the gathering of Isra-El to be one people. But in these two sticks, we have an allusion to the two shebas: Isra-El’s week, and Judah’s week. Here is a second witness to these two sticks…

“Thus saith YaHuWaH Elohim (the LORD God) of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle. And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria” (2 Kings 21:12, 13). This is at the time when Judah in the South had followed the evil course of Samaria, or Isra-El, in the North. Israe-El had already been taken captive through their king Hoshea, and now the Almighty announced that Judah (home to Jerusalem) was also going to be taken through their king Manasseh. The line of Samaria is their line of time, their sheba week of prophetic years. And the Almighty announced that He would stretch their line over Judah’s line through time.

The last end of indignation, even the 46 years of the building of the spiritual temple (I’m referencing John 2:20), joins the two sticks, or lines, together into one as the gathering commences in 1844, when the Anointed One entered into the

Most Holy Place for the purpose of cleansing the Sanctuary, and hence us, from our sins, that He may make the Everlasting Covenant of peace with us. Between 1798 and 1844 the gap is filled as ancient prophecies are revived, so that Israel is revived as one Commandment-keeping people.

There is even a third and very fascinating witness of this in the book of Zechariah…“Thus saith YaHuWaH (the LORD); I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: My house shall be built in it, saith YaHuWaH (the LORD) of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem” (Zechariah 1:16). The emphasis on this is the end of the line when His spiritual house is restored. But if that wasn’t enough, another vision was given immediately after. Oh friends, Behold…

Zech.1:18 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.

1:19 And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What [be] these? And he answered me, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, Isra-El, and Jerusalem.

Did you get that? The four horns are the four kingdoms that would scatter the people of the Almighty, just as the sheba was proclaimed four times in Leviticus, Chapter 26. And we know that these four kingdoms are Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome. But wait! It gets even more interesting. Oh friends, you won’t believe it!...

1:20 And YaHuWaH (the LORD) showed me four carpenters .

1:21 Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head (referring back to the four horns mentioned earlier): but these (that is, the four carpenters) are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up [their] horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

So, what could these four carpenters be? There is a type and antitype, which I cover more in depth in the book Sabbath Proclaimed More Fully. The type is the four decrees, which act as ‘carpenters’ to rebuild Jerusalem. There were three main ones: the first from Cyrus, the second from Darius, and the third from Artaxerxes, which went into effect in the fall of 457 BC. That was a Jubilee year that started the 70 weeks of the ‘mareh’. Every week would end in a Sabbatical year. Hence, 27 AD when Yahushua was baptized to begin His earthly ministry was a Sabbatical year, and so was 34 AD, the closing year of the 70-weeks. Hence, the ministry to the Gentiles began a Jubilee year. The Messiah died in the very midst of

Page 18: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

that last week. It only makes sense that these weeks of years correspond to the weekly cycle of years. And that is how we know that now at the Trumpets of 2014 we are entering a Sabbatical year. A second witness to this is a well-documented Jubilee that occurred in 701 BC in Hezekiah’s time as recorded in 2nd Kings, 2nd Chronicles, and Isaiah and concurs with chronology. So, the third decree, or typological carpenter, at the end of 457 BC started a very important Jubilee. But there was also a fourth decree given by the prophet Nehemiah, also under Artaxerxes, to rebuild the walls of the city—the final work. And this was really just an extension of the third decree, giving it power.

Any guesses on what the three antitypical carpenters are that build up the spiritual temple and come to fray, or cast out, the four horns, or four Pagan kingdoms? The type could not do this, because Greece and Rome, the latter two horns, hadn’t even come yet. Here it is. Are you ready? The Three Angels’ Messages, and the Loud Cry! Yes, there indeed was a prophecy in the First Testament of the Three Angels’ Messages. And keep in mind that the Fourth Angel in Revelation 18, is really just an extension of the first three, particularly the Third; thus, the Loud Cry of Righteousness by Faith, giving more power to the Third Angel’s Message. Wow! But wait, there is more…

Here is how you can connect the typical carpenters with the antitypical: The Third typical decree began the Jubilee year that commenced the 2300 years. We just saw how the 70 weeks cut off from it ended in an important week and how the Messiah died in the very midst of it. What if I was to tell you that there is also a very important week at the end of the 2300 years of the ‘mareh’? Oh yes, there is. 1840 is the year that the first carpenter really took off do to the fulfilled prophecy of the Ottoman empire falling. 1848 was a Jubilee year, and this is when the Third Angel’s Message, or sealing message, began to be understood during the infamous Sabbath meetings that year that our SDA pioneers participated in. Sunday laws were seen to be the mark of the beast, and the Sabbath was seen to be the seal. Yet, at the close of that Gregorian year, Ellen White had an important vision called the Dorchester vision, named after the city where it was given. Here she saw the rising of the Sabbath light, and how that it would grow brighter and brighter. Starting that year, people could be sealed into this message and partake in the special resurrection during the seventh plague to stand among the 144,000. Our pioneers understood this well. And the seven-month extension that we are now beginning to understand stretches out to the Sabbatical year of 2008 of when the Sabbath should be proclaimed more fully, rising from the east to noonday at its brightest potential.

But what about the midst of that closing week of the 2300 years. Does 1844 ring a bell? Oh yes, friends, just as Yahushua entered the Holy Place in the midst of the closing week of the 7o weeks, He entered into the Most Holy place in the midst of the closing week of the 2300 years. Keep in mind that half the week is spread beyond the 2300 years. 1848 then was the Jubilee and a very major year.

Page 19: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

Tomorrow evening we will see how it began the four generations, each 40-years long, with first one ending at the infamous fall of 1888, beginning a Sabbatical year, and the last stretching to 2008 to when the 7 months end and the coming of the 4th carpenter—even the proclamation of the 4th Angel’s Message, also known as the Loud Cry. So keep coming to these meetings please.

Thus, this sets the stage for Chapter 39, when the seven years and the seven-month extension to it are brought out. We are getting closer.

But first we must unlock the prophecy in Chapter 38—Gog and Magog—by solving another cryptic mystery…

Magog is a cryptical word, or cryptogram, for Mystery Babylon; the Hebrew letters for ‘Magog’ correspond to our MGG since there are no vowels in Hebrew. But if you take the letters of the Hebrew alphabet on one row in ascending order and then take them in descending order on the next row, every letter will have opposites. For MGG the Hebrew letters are equivalent to our LBB. But then that is also turned around backwards to make BBL, which are the very Hebrew letters that make up the word Babel, or Babylon. Thus, Magog stands for Mystery Babylon; the kingdom that is always the antagonist to Isra-El in prophecy. Gog is then derived from Magog, thus standing as the king of Babylon. But since we know that the battle of Armageddon is a prophecy of the end time according to Revelation 20, Verse 8, Gog, the king of Babylon, must be pope, the antichrist, since Mystery Babylon is the Papacy ever since the second half of the sheba. Could it be Jesuit pope Francis? Only time will tell.

Therefore, Ezekiel 38 is about the defeat of Babylon, or Gog and Magog, which takes place in the seven last plagues, as evidenced by the last several verses. Ezekiel 39 just continues off from Ch. 38. Verse to, in the marginal reading, refers to six plagues, but then in both verses 4 and 5 it says, “Thou shalt fall”. This is referring to Mystery Babylon and all the world that wonders after her; thus, this would be the seventh plague, the same that is when YaHuWaH makes an everlasting covenant with the 144,000 who represent Isra-El, thus pronouncing the victory at her fall. And then in Verse 6 a fire is mentioned. Interestingly, fire is mentioned in the fourth of the seven last plagues (Revelation 16:8), but even more so is it mentioned in Revelation 20 when referring to the lake of fire. Keep in mind that the battle of Armageddon has two stages, one just before the millennium during the plagues, and the final one just after. One day with YaHuWaH is as a thousand years; therefore, it all happen around the same day, called the day of YaHuWaH, or the day of the Lord, which is widely prophesied in the Scriptures.

“And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD). So will I make My holy name known in the midst of My people Isra-El; and I will not [let them] pollute My holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the

LORD), the Holy One in Israel. Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); this [is] the day whereof I have spoken”—that’s the day of YaHuWaH.

But something very peculiar happens in after this verse. Prophecy changes to a completely different time period, where a different fire is mentioned than that which occurs around the day of YaHuWaH. Let’s read about it…

39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Isra-El shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

Fire burning for seven whole years? We know this can’t be the seven last plagues or the hellfire and the other side of the day of YaHuWaH. It must be some kind of spiritual fire and an entirely different time period. Let’s read a couple of cross-references to find out more…

First, prophet Jeremiah:“Thus saith YaHuWaH Elohim (the LORD God) of hosts, Because ye speak this Word, behold, I will make My Words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Isra-El, saith YaHuWaH (the LORD): it [is] a mighty nation, it [is] an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say. Their quiver [is] as an open sepulchre, they [are] all mighty men” (Jeremiah 5:14-16). Friends, the fire is the Word of the Almighty and the ancient nation with quivers drawn is Babylon. Here is a second witness: “[Is] not My Word like as a fire? Saith YaHuWaH (the LORD)” (23:29)? And here is a third familiar witness and sheds much light on what we are studying in Ezekiel: “And I will give [power] unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed” (Revelation 11:3-5).

Is anything starting to ring a bell? The 1260 days, or 3 ½ prophetic years, is the latter half of the seven years mentioned in Ezekiel 39, and the language is very much the same. The two witnesses are the First and Second Testaments of the Bible, even the Word of the Almighty, for our prophet told us so.

Friends, this is what devours Babylon. Faithful sentinels, such as the prophets of old like Daniel and even the Messiah Himself, blew out the fire of the Word for the first 1260 years. But the emphasis in this prophecy is on the latter 1260 years when Papal Babylon ruled. They killed many bodies, but their weapons and quivers were powerless to kill the souls. By killing these innocent people, they were killing themselves. The testimony was given them but the rejected it and thought they

Page 21: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

were destroying it, but they were destroying themselves. This is how the fire of the Almighty devoured Babylon during the sheba, or seven years mentioned in Ezekiel. Let’s re-read it…

39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Isra-El shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

This going forth is also brought out by the prophet Jeremiah. YaHuWaH said, “Let them (referring to Isra-El) go forth … And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for [that] which he did in Jerusalem” (Jeremiah 15:1, 4). So, the going forth of Isra-El was their scattering throughout the earth due to their evil kings that they chose to reign over them, Manasseh being the one the finally caused their scattering in 677 BC—the beginning of Judah’s sheba. Thus, the scattering is linked with the seven years, or sheba. Now let’s read on as we get into the seven months following the seven years…

39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Isra-El shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

39:10So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD).

39:11And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog.

39:12And seven months shall the house of Isra-El be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.

39:13Yea, all the people of the land shall bury [them]; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD).

Do you remember when the seven months are? Isra-El’s sheba lasted from 723 BC to 1798 AD. It is only reasonable that the seven months follow the seven years. That is the order given here. So the seven prophetic months, or 210 literal years, lasts from 1798 to 2008. According to Ezekiel, this is when Isra-El buries the bones of Babylon “that they may cleanse the land.” What does this all mean? What are the bones of God, or mystery Babylon? Remember, it was the fire of the Word that

destroyed her weapons to conquer and kill her. And then she was placed in the graves of Isra-El. What it sounds like to me is that her bones are the last remnants of her that still remain in Isra-El, who happens to be Seventh-day Adventists during this seven-month time period. Babylon has had to be purged out of us over the years. Her bones include doctrines such as eternal torment, Sunday sacredness, natural immortality, and we could name a number of others. Our pioneers are the ones who buried these. But do any bones still remain after we have passed through the seven months? Let’s keep reading and find out…

39:14And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.

39:15And the passengers [that] pass through the land, when [any] seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

39:16And also the name of the city [shall be] Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

Dear brothers and sisters, it sounds to me like modern Israe-El, was not fully cleansed of Babylon’s lies during the seven months. Therefore, a diligent search is made for any remaining bones. This involves “continual employment”—we should not rest until all the bones of Babylon are buried, that we may be a cleansed people from every defect of her sins. Her sins are very much due to her false doctrine. And let me tell you friends, I’ve been doing the search diligently for years now and have found a number of her bonds among our land. I will be sharing these at Tabernacles. One of them you can probably already guess—her lie that the Law with its statutes were nailed to the cross. That is the Law part. But there is also more to the Gospel we need cleansing in. That is why the name of this Tabernacles study group is Law and Gospel. Listen to this quote by Ellen White…

“Said my guide (her angel), ‘There is much light yet to shine forth from the Law of the Almighty (God) and the gospel of righteousness. This message, understood in its true character, and proclaimed in the Spirit, will lighten the earth with its glory” (1888 Materials, p. 166). There are more bones to bury, my friends; more cleansing to take place; and this will all lead to us being purified from all our sins, because we are to keep ALL the Law and its details, and that only by appreciating the everlasting gospel in its fullness. There is only one thing that can do this cleansing; it is the blood of the Anointed Lamb. Let’s continue reading and you’ll see what I mean…

39:17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); Speak unto every feathered fowl (representing us, the three Angels’ messengers of the Almighty), and to every beast of the field (representing all those who are out in Babylon, the great beast), (now listen carefully…) Assemble yourselves, and

Page 23: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

come; gather yourselves on every side to My Sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a Great Sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

What is this Sacrifice that we are to come and gather assemble ourselves to gather around? Here’s a clue…

“Yahushua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me” (John 6:53-57). Oh, dear friends, this is our great new covenant need—for our Saviour to dwell in us and to receive the fullness of His atoning Sacrifice; and this will be the main subject presented at Tabernacles. I hope you will not be offended by the blood of the Lamb. It is very real. He still lives to make intercession before us in heaven. And the blood of the Anointed One is the ONLY thing that will finish cleansing Isra-El that the everlasting covenant may be enacted upon us in this final generation.

We must partake of the Messiah—that His life may be formed in us. Studying and appropriating His Sacrifice is a sure way to do this in addition to claiming His living promises. The stubborn bone of Babylon teaching that anyone other than our precious Saviour can live in us and make atonement for us must be buried, and we are living well into that final burial time as we are entering into the first Sabbatical year after the end of the seven months. And also notice the words ‘assemble’, ‘come’, and ‘gather’. These words seem to indicate convocations. And which convocations are connected with the various phases of the Messiah’s Sacrifice? Convocations like Passover, where the Anointed One is our Passover Lamb, even to this day, and Pentecost, where He promises a Pentecostal outpouring of His refreshing life upon us, and Trumpets to blow out the call of the four carpenters with a Loud Cry, and Tabernacles commemorating when EmmanuEl came to dwell with us, and in the near future when we will get to dwell with Him and the Almighty. It is times like these that we are asked to gather around the great Sacrifice. And this Lamb should really be the focus of our meetings, because that is what these convocations are for.

Let’s continue reading and see how a different kind of sacrifice is interwoven with the Sacrifice of our Saviour…

39:18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

39:19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of My Sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

Do you see the two Sacrifices involved here? This other sacrifice is the sacrifice of Babylon which the Almighty hands over to us, but not until we be full and drunken with the Sacrifice of the Lamb. You see, when we fully receive Yahushua into us, His Laws also will be sealed into us, thus fulfilling the everlasting covenant. And this will in turn fulfill the ultimate fall of Babylon. She will then be burned with literal fire, as the opening of the chapter alluded to; and there will be literal bones that die therein. But the spiritual experience must come first—coming out of Babylon by burying her lies and entering into everlasting rest. After that will come the physical reality.

With this all in mind, let’s finish to the end of the chapter and close…

39:20Thus ye shall be filled at My table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD).

39:21And I will set My glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see My judgment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them.

39:22So the house of Israel shall know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD) their Elohim (God) from that day and forward.

39:23And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against Me, therefore hid I My face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

39:24According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid My face from them.

39:25Therefore thus saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD); Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for My holy name;

39:26After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against Me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made [them] afraid.

39:27When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

39:28Then shall they know that I [am] YaHuWaH (the LORD) their Elohim (God), which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

39:29Neither will I hide My face any more from them: for I have poured out My Spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord YaHuWaH (GOD).

HalleluYah! Isra-El will prevail! We are now in the final gathering time. As soon as all the bones of Babylon are buried among our people, we will have a pure faith—

Page 25: Web viewThen the king's countenance was ... the ‘châzôn’ is the terrible abomination that needs to be cleansed away so that our sins can be cleansed by the crimson

one that will enable us to free us from all sin, thus sealing us and all ages of Isra-El into the everlasting covenant. Our dry bones that Babylon had piled up in her fields when we were in captivity to sin will come to life as the Spirit of our Lord and Saviour breathes His life into us. We will no longer be captives. And once our final generation wins the victory, all Isra-El before us, who walked in the limited light they had according to their generations, will be resurrected from their graves and we will all see the Almighty, even YaHuWaH of hosts, face to face. Babylon and all her sins will pass away when she is defeated twice in the Battle of Armageddon surrounding the day of YaHuWaH. She will be utterly burned with the everlasting result of no return. Iniquity will never rise up a second time, for Babylon is fallen, is fallen; the Messiah is King, is King!

So let’s finish the diligent search—both for the doctrinal bones of Babylon and all of her sins that still linger in our hearts. The Messiah’s kingship begins in the hearts of the 144,000. Will you be among them? Then be one of the feathered fowls; be an eagle messenger and gather around the great Sacrifice…

“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together” (Matthew 24:27, 28).

Trumpet call; Eagles song.
