Jaguars, who are visiting Minnesota for the 4th time in their history, with the Vikings holding a 2-1 advantage. Jacksonville is led by head coach Mike Mularkey, who played tight end for the Vikings from 1983-88. The Vikings are 17-7 all-time when opening the season at home.

7-15-1 The Vikings make their first-ever trip to Lucas Oil Stadium. Minnesota will be searching for its first win in Indianapolis all-time.
9/23 San Francisco 21-22-1 Minnesota will look to extend their 4-game win streak against San Francisco at home. The last time the 49ers beat the Vikings in Minnesota was 1992.
9/30 at Detroit 66-33-2 The Vikings have won 15 of their last 18 games in Detroit. They also hold a 30-20-1 record all-time against the Lions in Detroit.
10/7 Tennessee 7-4-0 The Titans make a rare visit to Minnesota, only playing there in 2001, 2004, and now in 2012. The will be only the 12th meeting between the Vikings and the Houston/Tennessee franchise.
10/14 at Washington 10-11-0 Head Coach Leslie Frazier returns to FedEx Field, the site of his first-ever victory as a head coach. The Vikings have won 2 straight games in Washington. This will be the 3rd straight year Minnesota has played at Washington.
10/21 Arizona 14-10-0 The last Cardinals victory in Minnesota came in 1977 when the team still played in St. Louis. The Vikings have won 6 consecutive home games against Arizona. The two teams have met every season since 2008.
10/25 Tampa Bay 31-21-0 The Vikings will host their first Thursday Night game since 2000 when they face the Buccaneers in a Week 8 matchup televised on NFL Network. The Vikings have a 5-6 record all-time on Thursday night. The last Thursday night game the Vikings played in was a 14-9 loss at New Orleans in the 2010 NFL season opener. The last time the Vikings played a game televised on NFL Network was a 9-7 loss to Green Bay on 12/21/06.
11/4 at Seattle 5-6-0 The Vikings will travel to Seattle for the first time since their 31-13 win there in 2006. Vikings TE John Carlson will make his first visit to Seattle after playing with the Seahawks from 2008-2011
11/11 Detroit 66-33-2 The Vikings have lost only one home game to Detroit since 1998 and hold a 36-13 home record all-time against the Lions.
11/25 at Chicago 52-48-2 The Vikings will try to get their first win in the Windy City since 2007, when they beat the Bears 34-31 on a game-winning 55-yard field goal by Ryan Longwell.
12/2 at Green Bay 48-53-1 The Vikings will take to the road in a Week 13 contest in which they will look to capture their first win at Lambeau Field since 2009. 2012 will mark first time the Vikings have played both regular season games against Green Bay in December.
12/9 Chicago 52-48-2 The Vikings own a 31-21 home record against Chicago and will look for their fourth victory in the past six contests against the Bears at Mall of America Field.
12/16 at St. Louis 23-16-2 The Vikings travel to the Edward Jones Dome, a site they have played at only once since 2003. The Vikings beat the Rams 38-10 in their last visit to St. Louis in 2009. The two teams have met 7 times in postseason play, with Minnesota winning 5 of the games.
12/23 at Houston 2-0-0 Minnesota makes its second trip to Houston to take on the Texans. The Vikings have not lost to the Texans since they came into the League as an expansion team in 2002
12/30 Green Bay 48-53-1 The defending NFC North champions will make their way to Mall of America Field in a series that is deadlocked 25-25 when played in Minnesota. This will be the 5th season finale the Vikings have played against Green Bay, the last was in 1996.
