Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition (VSSE) was held at Kota, on 26th and 27th July 2016.Gurukul Institute of Engineering and Tech, RIICO Institutional Area Ranpur, Kota were thehost.

All the schools of Kota were informed about the event with brief about the content ofexhibition and were also informed to bring students to visit this rare space exhibition ofISRO. The host provided bus facility to many schools and colleges. Around 80 buses were inservice for this event. The visitors braved heavy rains to visit the exhibition and learn aboutISRO activities.

Initially all visitors were briefed about ISRO activities and what exhibition has for them in anauditorium. This was followed by a documentary on Mars Mission and then they would gofor the exhibition. All the visitors were thrilled to have glimpses of ISRO activities and hadlong interactions with team of scientists from SAC represented by Dr Ratan Bisht, SammirSakhare, Jitendra Kharde and Satish Rao. About 50 Students from Gurukul EngineeringCollege were prepared by the VSSE Team to explain various panels to the visitors.

Students from all disciplines and standards had a never before thrilling experience. DuringInteractive sessions, they asked many questions which were answered to their satisfaction.There were many questions encompassing almost all aspects of space science.

Kota in Rajasthan has gained a reputation of sending a large number of students to the IITsthrough the various famous coaching classes located in the city. With this exhibition manystudents developed a spark in their mind and have started believing in themselves forbecoming a scientist/Engineer, especially to work for ISRO and the nation.
