• The flowers in the vineyard are very little.
• The field´s flowers are prettier than vineyard´s flowers

•In a year you can see different stages of the grapes

• In many families from La Rioja there are family harvest.
OLD TIME-NEW TIME.
• At the old time very works were made by hand o with animals
• At the new times the tractor and the machines are usuals in the field
WINE CELLARS
DE-STEMMER
In the modern elaboration of wine the grapes are destemmed and crushed.
Stainless steel vats
• The usual fermentation is in big stainless steel vats
Press
After the grapes are fermented, the press separate the liquid and the solid.
The rack
• The lees are in the bottom of the vat.
• The rack put in another vat the wine and separates the lees.
• It´s normal to use a pump.
Strainer• The strainer is used to filter the wine .
Cooling the wine
Young wine is cooled to avoid dregs.
When the wine is finished…

• The wineries sell wine in shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
