Ch 5. Join with sl st in the 1st ch to form a ring.

Rnd 1(RS): ch 4, [dc in ring, ch 1] 11 times, join with slst to 3rd ch of beg ch-4 = 12 dc and 12 ch-1 sps.

Rnd 2: ch 3, dc in 1st ch-1 sp, 2 dc in each ch-1 sparound, join with sl st to top of beg ch-3 = 24 dc.

Rnd 3: ch 5, dc between next 2 dc (see tutorial, p. 5), ch2, sk next dc, dc between next 2 dc] around to last 2 dc,ch 2, join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-5 = 12 dc and 12ch-2 sps.

Rnd 4: ch 3, 3 dc in 1st ch-2 sp, 4 dc in each ch-2 sparound, join with sl st to top of beg ch-3 = 48 dc.

Rnd 5: Rep Rnd 3 = 24 dc and 24 ch-2 sps.

Rnd 6: ch 3, 2 dc in 1st ch-2 sp, 3 dc in each ch-2 sparound, join with sl st to top of beg ch-3 = 72 dc.

Rnd 7: ch 5, sk next dc, V-st between next 2 dc, [ch 2,sk next 2 dc, dc between next 2 dc, ch 2, sk next 2 dc,V-st between next 2 dc] around, join with sl st to 3rd ch ofbeg ch-5 = 12 dc, 12 V-sts and 24 ch-2 sps.
