From the CoachWhat a season 2021 turned out to be. We had five new faces in our team and each and every one of the 10 players contributed to making our season a success. It was so awesome to make the Elimination final and be at home to fight it out.There are many things about the season that as a coach I am proud of, none more so than the way the team embraced our community. You all know I am one-eyed when it comes to all the members and supporters we have here in the deep south. To watch the team engage and embrace the Steel members, community and supporters has been a delight.They have all enjoyed the ‘feel’ you get from walking out onto our home court and the crowd cheering and creating an atmosphere they feel privileged to be a part of.Our job is to perform week in, week out. The energy and enthusiasm we get from you all makes our job so much easier. We value your support and look forward to seeing you all back for 2022 cheering louder than ever and wearing Steel colours.
