User data and settings management is implemented from the VIPole software via a special administrator extension built into the client application.

VIPole Corporate Server makes it possible to add new users individually or upload user data in CSV format, as well as create user groups with different access and security configurations.

The administrator of VIPole Corporate Server can view the server connection log and see from which device and when a user connected to the VIPole server.

Data encryption and protection management
VIPole Corporate Server provides a wide range of security settings for protection of data within the system:
Data encryption management. The administrator of the server can assign passwords and encryption keys and assign secret phrases to users. If the secret phrase is assigned by the administrator, not by the user, the administrator can read the user’s messages, access his files and notes.
Additional security mechanisms. Additional protection mechanisms can be configured for each user: one can assign a fake secret phrase to activate protection if the user is forced to open the profile by outsiders; configure application lock and automatic logout when idle or offline for a certain time.

Control of connections and access block
VIPole Corporate Server also makes it possible to configure users’ connection conditions and set rules for different groups:
Monitor connections using IP address and subnetwork mask. Makes it possible to restrict access to data on the VIPole server using the IP address of the user's device. The administrator can monitor connection conditions and determine IP addresses from which users can connect to the VIPole server.
Block access to data stored on the user's device. If a special access mode is activated, the administrator can control access to data in VIPole, which are stored directly on the user’s computer or smartphone. This mode makes it possible to quickly block access to data or even delete them from the user’s device in case of device theft or unauthorized access.

Monitor server performance
Server health monitoring moduleis a special software module which emulates a VIPole client application and connects to the server as a client after a specified time.
VIPole Corporate Server is easy to operate and maintain and does not require complex monitoring of processes within the system.
If the company’s server fails, the monitoring module will immediately notify the administrator.
One or more monitoring modules can be run on any server in any data center.
The module can be integrated with the Zabbix monitoring system.

VoIP connection module
For using VoIP telephony an additional VoIP module is provided, which uses connection via SIP protocol.
If you use VoIP module, you can connect to your own SIP telephony provider and call to landline and mobile phones anywhere in the world directly from the VIPole client application.

Additional Media Relay Server
An additional media relay server is installed on a separate server with better bandwidth between the media relay server and the company’s office to improve the quality of audio and video communication:
In case of low bandwidth of channels between the company branches and the server the quality of VIPole services, requiring higher bandwidth, such as audio and video calls and VoIP telephony, can be impaired.
In this case the voice and video traffic will go through the additional media relay server.
You can run any number of media relay servers both on servers which are included in a cluster and on other servers located in other data centers.

Web module is an additional server module which makes it possible to set up a separate website where the users of the VIPoleCorporate Server will be able to login and recover their passwords, if necessary.
