Ensures patient safety and quality of healthcare through:
Maintaining and monitoring comprehensive quality control, quality assurance and proficiency programs in accordance with all federal and state regulations
Inspect all practices and provide remediation for deficiencies
Providing technical, scientific and management oversight for all POCT
Orients and trains all personnel to ensure ongoing competency
Communicates with federal and state agencies and other health professionals

Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (Medical Technology)
Certification as a Medical Technologist
A minimum of 5 years working experience in Medical Technology
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Knowledge of training and educational methodologies
Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures
