History of VISIONS-Why it MattersIf you or your daughter has ever benefitted from GPS financial aid, leadership and community service initiatives, academics, fine arts, the Learning Center, or athletics, then our annual fundraising event VISIONS matters – whether you’ve known it or not! That is because funds raised from the VISIONS event are used to support the myriad of programs at GPS. VISIONS Past:• 1986 – event started as a small luncheon.• 1993 – event revised to an evening event.• 1994 – special project added to enhance donations.• 2010 – online auction added.• 2014 – VISIONS refreshed. Exciting details inside!
A New “VISION” for 2014On the following pages, you will learn the new concept of an expanded, more inclusive VISIONS event, with multiple venues and offerings – even new names:

***NEW THIS YEAR***Browse the Visions MARKETPLACE at BID where vendors will showcase their wares and support GPS! The event will highlight boutique shopping with regional vendors. These “pop-up shops” will showcase everything from jewelry and children’s items to home decor!

The BID Silent Auction
This will be a fun, casual (adult
only, please) evening that you will
not want to miss! The BID auction
chairs are hard at work gathering
silent auction items for the evening.
We want the whole parent body to
attend this event. This will also be a
great night to bring a friend with you
to GPS or make it a Girls Night Out!
Tandem Event with
COLLECT
The Art Auction is FREE and open to the community.Collect art, sculptures, and jewelry of varying prices from artists, both local and from around the country. The art will be offered in a silent
auction bidding format. You will not want to miss the opportunity to see what will be offered in the COLLECT auction!
The Live Auction & GalaMarch 8th7:00 p.m.
Hunter Museum of American Art
TOAST will take place on Saturday evening, March 8th, at the Hunter Museum of American
Art. The TOAST Gala will feature a seated dinner and an
exciting live auction with new, never-before-featured items.
The attire will be semi-formal, and the cost will be $150 per
person/$300 per couple. All RSVPs will be taken online.

***NEW THIS YEAR***A piece of artwork will be created by GPS students. Working with a professional artist, GPS students will create a one-of-a-kind piece that will be auctioned off at COLLECT.
