One system for all formats – intraoral and extraoral

satisfies all diagnostics demands

the Vistascan plus satisfies the highest demands on image

quality and covers all size formats up to 24 x 30 cm: intra-

oral, occlusal, panoramic and CepH. the Vistascan plus is

therefore the universal scanner for dental surgeries. With just

one scanner, X-ray diagnostics in the dental surgery can be

completely digitised – using your existing X-ray tubes.

With software integrated into the heart of the pC network,

all your workstations can access the images processed by

the Vistascan plus. the scanner can be installed anywhere

in the surgery – X-ray room, corridor area or treatment

room. Wall mounting offers a particularly space-saving

solution.

intraoral – just like every day

With the Vistascan plus, no re-learning is necessary for intra -

oral exposures using image plates. the handling, positioning

and range of formats are the same as with analog film. even

commercially available film holding systems can generally

continue to be used (we recommend the rWt set from

dürr dental).

the flexible, thin and wirefree Vistascan plus image plates are

comfortable for the patient. this is particularly noticeable with

exposures in the molar area, with children or patients with

low palates or jaw joint dysfunctions. thanks to their special

coating, the image plates are particularly durable.

reliable panoramic and extra-oral X-rays

even panoramic and other extra-oral X-rays are no different

with the Vistascan plus: the X-ray film is simply replaced

with an image plate and the X-ray unit is immediately ready

for digital images – with no modification. the fact that the

existing X-ray unit continues to be used also maintains the

quality assurance of the exposures.

digital filters enhance the diagnosis

the dBsWin imaging software optimises and saves all ima-

ges. diagnosis-enhancing filters also offer the possibility of

further editing the contrast and sharpness of the images. this

makes detailed diagnoses down to caries d1 lesions possib-

le. the zoom function allows fundamental apical processes to

be communicated convincingly to the patient. Full or partial

status recordings can easily be produced using pre-defined

or customisable templates.
