– curved, straight, jagged, horizontal, vertical…– Thick, thin, dotted, hatchmarks

• Shape and Form:– Outline of an image produced by lines– Geometric / organic; positive;negative

• Colour– Hue / value / intensity / temperature

• Examine pictures of hummingbirds in nature

• Discuss:– Lines and forms– Identify shapes

• Create the fire on mural paper– Think about lines you use– Think about shapes you use– Relate them to lines/shapes in Haida art
