Visual Arts – Uploading the Exhibition component

Entering and submitting Predicted Grades (PGs)

Log into IBIS ensuring that you are in the May 2016 session and navigate to ‘Subject > IAPG > Mark

entry > Predicted grade entry’…

Choose Group 6 from the drop down box and click on the View subjects button and for your Visual

Arts components please click on the ‘Enter grades’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

Go ahead and enter your Predicted Grades (OUT OF 1 – 7) for each candidate listed in the boxes on

the right hand side of the screen and click the continue button once done…

Please then click on the ‘Verify grades’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

Please then re-enter the previously entered Predicted Grades to verify them. You will see ticks appear

as you enter the correct grade. When all grades are re-entered, please click the continue button…

Please then click on the ‘Complete grade entry’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

And then click on the continue button again to complete the Predicted Grade entry process.

Entering Exhibition IA marks, selecting the sample and entering criteria marks

To start the IBIS tasks for the Exhibition component in IBIS, please navigate to ‘Subject > IAPG >

Mark entry > IA mark entry’…

components please click on the ‘Enter marks’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

Go ahead and enter the IA marks (OUT OF 0 – 30) for each candidate listed in the boxes on the right

hand side of the screen and click the continue button once done…

Please then click on the ‘Verify marks’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

Please then click on the ‘Complete mark entry’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

And then click on the continue button again…

You will then be asked to enter the names of your Visual Arts teachers. Please do this and click the

continue button…

You are then required to select the sample for the Exhibition component. Please click the ‘Select

Sample’ link on the right hand side of the screen. This is important and a crucial step because if

you don’t do this, the Exhibition component will not be visible in the IBIS eCoursework

screens.

A sample will then be generated by IBIS. The candidates listed are the ones that you should upload

work for in the IBIS eCoursework screens. Please then click on the Send button…

You then need to enter the breakdown of criteria marks for your Exhibition candidates. Please click on

the ‘Enter criteria marks’ link on the right hand side of the screen to do this…

Go ahead and enter criteria marks and supporting comments for all of your sample candidates listed

and click on the ‘Save’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

Please then click on the ‘Submit’ link on the right hand side of the screen…

And then click on the Submit button to finally complete Exhibition mark entry.

Uploading the Exhibition IA component work

Now that you have done all of the above IBIS tasks, the Exhibition component should now be visible

to you in the IBIS eCoursework upload screens as highlighted below.

You can now upload all of the relevant files for your candidates Exhibition work. As you can see

below, there are separate areas for the upload of the Curatorial Rationale, the VAPPF (Visual Arts

Planning and Progress Form) exhibition photographs and artwork. Once an image of an artwork is

uploaded, some text boxes then become available where you can enter the required Exibition text

such as ‘title of work, medium used and size of the work.’ There is a character limit of 500 for this

information and this count includes spaces.
