PRESS RELEASE 3

Summer came early to New York this year, the sun warming the asphalt at the bot-tom of the city’s deep street canals. She has left the hot centre walking to the har-bour areas by the Hudson River with her camera. For an hour or so now, she has been sitting on the dock by herself in the afternoon sun. Recharging, making ready for another DJ-gig tonight at the old ware-house. Making ready to be the centre of everybody’s attention.

BLEND’s Main Spring collection has an understated, still rough city appeal. The overall look is sun bleached and hazy. Personal, hand drawn prints, army details and rebellious statements are some of the edgy details that are added to the washed out garments and the vintage denims. The colours reflect a casual summer-look: Army green, shades of blue, hints of soft yellow, burnt red tones mixed with spots of neon and essential whites, all carefully coordinated with the worn out appear-ance.

BLEND’s Main Spring Collection is de-signed for the self assured city girl, rough and feminine at the same time, and sur-prisingly versatile. Ideal for relaxing by yourself. Ideal for staying out all night.

BRAND ID 7

The BLEND girl is a city girl. Every inch. She loves the 24/7 bustle of East Village and rarely leaves the city for long.

With an obvious artistic talent she makes a living from being a DJ in night clubs and occasionally from freelance photography and model-ling. She is a passionated blogger on music and art.

She is completely present in every moment, whatever she does in life.

She does not worry about the future, about education, permanent job or family. She knows that everything she needs will come to her at the right time.

She expresses her vibrant personal-ity through a dark and sensual way of dressing. She combines items intuitively in surprising ways. Auto-nomous by heart, she dresses up for herself, not for others.

Her style may be inspired by the 80’ies, by London’s arty underground or by American street art. Still, the result is completely her own: person-al, aesthetic and with that unmistak-able rough touch of hers.

With her strong charisma, style and self confidence she is the natural centre of attention wherever she goes. But she stays true only to herself.

EVERY INCH A CITY GIRL
