Meet Nick Wolfe

Born and raised in Charleston West Virginia. I graduated from Capital High School with high honors. I was also a member of my high school soccer team, Key club and honor society. I am now about to begin my third year of architecture school at the University of Kentucky. I am a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the AIAS club.

Shadowing Licensed Architect, Uner Goken, WV, 2009 - Traveled to a local firm, where I viewed the daily operations of a running architecture firm. - Viewed different impressive local structures then discussed the theory and design behind each - Assisted the architect Uner Goken in reviewing and making minor changes to building plans using a computer design program called Auto CAD. - Took finished plans to a local printing shop to be scaled and copied and also took these plans to different offices to obtain building permits for the project.

Presentations of college projects to Professional Viewers, KY, 2009-2011 - Presented finished college architecture projects to a jury of local architects, professors, engineers and other professionals - Discussed conflicts and strong points within each of projects face to face with professional clients

Worked For Wolfe Construction, WV, summer of 2011 - Worked along side plumbers, electricians and carpenters - Helped create electrical plans, HVAC plans and lighting plans - Worked with plumbing systems, demolition, insulation, framing, and floor preparation - Saw the more technical side of building instead of just the design process
