VISUAL STYLE

The number increasing with each brush, was an element which we wanted to experiment with in our sequence. We tried to reflect that influence in our sequence, but with a twist.

STRANGER THAN FICTION INSPIRATION

We wanted the colour for our film to be vibrant yet minimalistic and simple. To allow the content to feel realistic, I think that not over editing the colours - will allow the audience to connect with the sequence more.

JUBILEE PROJECT

On YouTube there is a collection of short films by a group of aspiring film makers called Jubilee Project. The colour grading used throughout their videos really inspired me to reflect that when it came to editing our sequence. As you can see there is minimal shadowing and a slightly higher exposure giving the shots this freshness. It also added to the simplicity and allowed the shots to have a strong continuity!
