Product descriptionVITAFOL H is a silicon material which protects acrylic and cera-mic teeth during denture fabrication.

Features/Benefits– VITAFOL H protects acrylic and ceramic teeth. Extremely accu-

rate modellations of the gingiva margin can be retainedduring devesting and areas that are covered with VITAFOL Hremain clean and do not need to be finished.

– Areas that are covered with VITAFOL H do not need to beseparated towards the plaster material. Accordingly no sepa-rating agent can reach the basal surfaces of the teeth. In thecase of acrylic teeth, a separating layer between teeth andbase material can be avoided.

– Damage during pressing and devesting is avoided through thebuffer effect of VITAFOL H.

Product descriptionVITA VM 13 was developed as a special, fine-structure venee-ring ceramic for all commercially available alloys with a CTErange of 13.8 - 15.2.

An overview of CTE compatibility with tested alloys can befound on the internet.

As with all VITA VM ceramics, what makes VITA VM 13 sodistinctive is its light reflection and refraction properties whichare very similar to those of natural tooth enamel.

Product descriptionVITA VMK 95 is a metal ceramic designed to veneer ceramicbonding alloys which contain silver, have a high gold content, orhave a reduced or zero precious metal content.

Further information on combinations already tested by VITA canbe found in our “Overview of alloys”(Print no. 707M).

The warm VITA Toothguide 3D-MASTER shades can be accura-tely recreated using this streamlined, compact and clearlyarranged assortment of materials. With the standard layeringtechnique, only two layers (dentine and enamel) are needed.

Product descriptionVITA VM 7 was developed as a special, fine-structure veneeringceramic for all-ceramic framework materials in the CTE range of7.2 - 7.9 (e.g. VITA In-Ceram ALUMINA, SPINELL, ZIRCONIA andVITA In-Ceram AL).

As with all VITA VM porcelains, what makes VITA VM 7 sodistinctive is its light reflection and refraction properties whichare very similar to those of natural tooth enamel. The use ofadditional fluorescent and opalescent porcelains enables highlyindividual and esthetically pleasing restorations to be achieved.

A study carried out by Giordano of the Goldman School ofDental Medicine, University of Boston, investigated the abrasi-on behavior of various ceramic materials in comparison to thatof natural tooth enamel.VITA VM 7 was found to be the best material, as its fine struc-ture results in abrasion behavior almost identical to that ofnatural tooth enamel.Restorations customized with VITA VM 7 are thus among themost antagonist friendly.

Product descriptionVITA SPRAY-ON 2000 system is designed for spraying dentalceramic opaque materials onto metal frameworks.A compressed air spray gun is used to spray on a uniformly thincovering layer of opaque material. Materials which have alrea-dy been mixed can be kept in the glass bottles supplied withthe system until they have been completely used up. The easy-to-assemble VITA SPRAY-BOX is recommended to control theamount of dust emitted when using the VITA SPRAY-ONsystem.Adaptors of varying diameters are supplied for connection tosuction units.

Product descriptionVITA In-Ceram SPINELL (MgAl2O4) is a system for producinghigh-strength, translucent oxide-ceramic frameworks for ante-rior crowns as well as inlay and onlay frameworks.

After glass infiltration firing, during which the sintered frame-works retain their final strength and individual coloring, theyare veneered with VITA VM 7 fine-structure ceramic.

Features/Benefits– VITA In-Ceram SPINELL has the same excellent light

refraction properties as all other oxide-ceramic systems,which is why it is particularly suited to the fabrication ofanterior crowns when the tooth stumps show littlediscoloration.

– Due to their high strength of around 400 MPa, restorationsmade from VITA In-Ceram SPINELL offer the possibility ofnon-adhesive cementation.

Product descriptionVITA In-Ceram AL for inLab are pre-sintered aluminim oxide(Al2O3) blocks which are then dense sintered at 1530°C in aspecial high-temperature furnace (VITA ZYrcomat). They areused to fabricate extremely strong (approx. 500 MPa) all-cera-mic frameworks for crowns and three-unit bridges with onepontic.

VITA In-Ceram AL for inLab frameworks are milled using theSirona Dental Systems inLab System. After the frameworkshave been sintered at high temperature in the VITA ZYrcomat,they are veneered with VITA VM 7 fine-structure ceramic.

Features/Benefits– Excellent translucency and biocompatibility.– The high-temperature sintering process is exactly the same

as that used for VITA In-Ceram YZ for inLab.– The sintered frameworks already correspond to the tooth

shade and can thus be milled in their dry state using mini-mum pressure.

– Due to their high strength of > 500 MPa, restorations madefrom VITA In-Ceram AL for inLab offer the possibility of non-adhesive cementation.

– As there is only limited shrinkage of 15%, compared to 20%with zirconium oxide, it is possible to mill frameworks fromthem for longer and larger teeth.

Product descriptionPorously pre-sintered ZIRCONIA blocks Al2O3/ZrO2 used tofabricate all-ceramic frameworks for crowns and three-unitposterior bridges with one pontic.

The frameworks are fabricated using the Mikrona CELAY copy-milling system. After glass infiltration firing, during which themilled frameworks retain their final strength and individualcoloring, they are veneered with VITA VM 7 fine-structure cera-mic.

VITA In-Ceram ZIRCONIA for CELAY frameworks are made ofaluminum oxide strengthened with zirconium oxide and aredistinguished by their high bending strength (approx. 600 MPa)and high tear tenacity, which is why the material is also indica-ted for posterior bridge frameworks.

Product descriptionVITA CAD-Waxx blocks replace modeling wax; they are made offiller-free acrylic polymer which can be milled.

CAD-Waxx blocks are used with the Sirona Dental SystemsinLab system to mill embeddable casting models for the fabri-cation of primary telescopes and of crown and bridge frame-works to be used in metal-ceramic, full-casting or press ceramictechnique. They enable the user to fabricate constructions thatcan be checked or tried for fit before the final restoration is mil-led.

To ensure that the fabrication process is as efficient as possi-ble, we recommend that inEos is used for scanning.

To use VITA CAD-Waxx, the Sirona CAD-Waxx Starter Set isrequired. This contains a modified tank with a higher strengthfiltering system and can be obtained from specialist dentalstockists, product no. 60 94 713.

Features/Benefits– Higher torsional resistance and dimensional accuracy than

modeling wax, even for large-span restorations.– Allow optimal thickness of walls and connectors to be defi-
