The 21st Annual VNEA JuniorPool Championships VisitsMankato For A CelebrationOf The Worlds GreatestJunior Players!

Verizon Wireless Civic Center • Mankato, MNJune 16-19, 2011

With the incredible help of local Charter HolderC & N Sales, the VNEA crew transformed theVerizon Wireless Civic Center into the coolest “poolroom” in the country.

86 Valley Pool Tables were neatly arranged throughout thearena with (6) of Valley’s newest models making up the sought-after Finals Arena.

At noon sharp on Thursday, the VNEA opened its tournamentdoors early, as usual, to hundreds of juniors lined up outside tobegin their practice routines for the Singles event that wouldbegin that evening. Practice was extremely busy this year as itwas the first time that the Juniors event went to a “Green Fees”format. The tables were set on “free-play” and the kids defi-nitely took advantage of the unlimited play time.

With all of the competitors checked in for the Singles show-downs, the first matches of the event began being called fromthe stage at 6:00pm. Matches in all three divisions ran strongfor the next five hours with some dreams of a title remaining areality and others being abruptly erased.

At 9:00am on Friday morning, the Singles matches raged againwith everyone trying to make it to the Finals Bracket of theirdivision. Throughout the day, incredible matches were wit-nessed throughout the room with no one wanting to getknocked out of this prestigious event.

Both singles and team compe-tition for the weekend werebroken down into 3 divisions:
