Desperation is the feeling that you have when you are in such a bad situation that you will try anything to change it.

Procession-noun

A procession is a group of people who are walking, riding, or driving in a line as part of a public event.

*I watched the funeral procession from the sidewalk.*When we were in Bali, we saw a religious procession that looked like a parade.

Glower-noun, adj, verb

If you glower at someone or something, you look at them angrily. If you describe a person as glowering, you mean they look angry and bad tempered.

If you prime someone to do something, you prepare them to do it, for example by giving them information about it beforehand. You prime an object by preparing it and making it ready.

If you slog through something, you work hard and steadily through it. If something is a slog, it is tiring and requires a lot of effort.

Hoard-verb, noun

If you hoard things such as food or money, you save or store them, often in secret, because they are valuable or important to you. A hoard is an accumulation of things that you have saved and that are valuable or important to you or you do not want other people to have.

*They've begun to hoard food and gasoline and save their money.*Timmy was hoarding all his Halloween candy so no-one else would take it.

Flinch-verb

If you flinch, you make a small sudden movement, especially when something surprises you or hurts you.

An intention is an idea or plan of what you are going to do.
