Definition – Automatic and unthinking. (adj.)Synonyms – Careless, cool, laid-back, uninterested.Sentence- The boy was perfunctory when he was riding his bike, he didn’t hold on to the handle bars or wear a helmet.
METICULOUSDefinition – Taking or showing extremecare about minute details; precise;thorough. (adj.)Synonyms- Accurate, cautious, exact, picky, strict.Sentence- The girl was very meticulouswhile painting her picture, she wanted a good grade, so she took her time and do a good job.
LamentDefinition – To express grief for or about;mourn. To regret deeply; deplore. (v.tr.)To grieve audibly; wail. To express sorrowor regret. (v.intr.) A feeling or an expression of grief; a lamentation. A song or poem expressingdeep grief or mourning.
