Objective(s)

• This grade introduces the rhythmic patterns and simple (Unmodulated) flat notes.

Outcome(s)

Objective(s)

• This grade introduces the all carnatic music notes with modulations. Also the grade introduces the musical intervals.

Outcome(s)

• The students will have the abilities to perform all the music notes of Carnatic Music.

• Also they will have the abilities to perform those notes and perform the time signatures with their hand simultaneously.

• Also they will have the abilities to improvise with all carnatic music notes with modulations.

• Also they will have the abilities to perform in the specified intervals. Methods

• The students shall be taught with pure carnatic singing or pure carnatic type of playing with the instruments with all appropriate modulations of each carnatic music notes. Piano shall be used to demonstrate the intervals.

Objective(s)

• This grade introduces the leap notes of carnatic music with modulations. Outcome(s)

• The students will have the abilities to perform all the music notes of Carnatic Music with leap notes.

• Also they will have the abilities to perform leap notes and perform the time signatures with their hand simultaneously.

• Also they will have the abilities to improvise with all carnatic music leap notes with modulations with the specified intervals.

Methods

• The students shall be taught with pure carnatic singing or pure carnatic type of playing with the instruments with all appropriate modulations of each carnatic music notes. Piano shall be used to demonstrate the intervals and leap notes.

• This grade introduces the compound time signatures of carnatic music with note modulations. Also it introduces the improvisation of simple modes in carnatic music.

Outcome(s)

• He students will have the abilities to perform the compound time signatures with their hand.

• Also they will have the abilities to improvise with all carnatic music notes with modulations with the compound time signatures.

• Also they will have the abilities to improvise simple Ragas. Methods

• The students shall be taught with pure carnatic singing or pure carnatic type of playing with the instruments with all appropriate modulations of each carnatic music notes. Encourage the students to listen to the raga improvisations of different performers.

5.1 Musical Improvisation: Level-4

• Improvising maximum range of 4 notes, up to a 5th, in 4/4 with minimum of 4

bar phrase, with dotted notes.

Objective(s)

• This grade introduces Lyrics Improvisation of carnatic music with note modulations. Also it introduces the improvisation of complex modes in carnatic music.

Outcome(s)

• He students will have the abilities to perform the Niraval with appropriate time signatures on their hand.

• Also they will have the abilities to improvise with all carnatic music Lyrics with modulations with the time signatures.

• Also they will have the abilities to improvise complex Ragas. Methods

• The students shall be taught with pure carnatic singing or pure carnatic type of playing with the instruments with all appropriate modulations of each carnatic music notes. Encourage the students to listen to the raga improvisations of different performers.
