Francis Martin jr., 27, son oi Francis and Nellie Fisk, former resident, now of Howell, was killed in an auto accident at 1:30 a m , Friday morning on Gand River Rd., 2 miles west c HowelL His three companions. Donald Tidd 27; William Sweet­en, 26 and Ernest Fredenberg,26 were also killed. The car driven by Tidd at a high rate of speed, hit the back end of a lumber truck driven by James Betts, 49, of Detroit.
