an exemption granted under section 57 of the Act for a period of three years.This exemption has been granted to permit Jireh House Association Inc to recruit and employ women only in identified core positions that have, under the specific duties of their positions, direct contact with women and women with children residing at the Jireh House Crisis Centre:(a) the discrimination is for the purposes of operating

a crisis accommodation service for women and women with children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence and other life crisis; and

(b) being a women is a genuine occupational requirement of working wi th women who requi re c r i s i s accommodation and other services provided by Jireh House Accommodation Inc because staff members in these roles all have regular personal contact with women escaping domestic and family violence.

Granted on the 1st day of September 2015.The exemption is for the period of three (3) years subject to the fulfilment by Jireh House Association Inc of the conditions that Jireh House Association Inc:

a) reports on or before 29 February 2016 to the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner on actions taken in reliance on this exemption; and

b) on at least one occasion in the 12 months immediately after this order is made it will organise and promote training for Jireh House Association Inc’s staff, officers and clients through the Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner’s training and education program to increase awareness of rights and obligations under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998 (Tas).

A person may apply to the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal for a review of the Commissioner’s decision within 28 days from the date of this notice being published.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY INDUSTRY ACT 1995

I, MATTHEW GROOM, Minister administering the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995, pursuant to Section 121 B and Section 121 C, having taken into account the budget prepared under section 121 D, hereby make the following order:—

(1) (a) the electricity entity that is liable to pay an annual charge for the operation and administration of the electrical safety inspection service administered by the responsible Department in relation to the Electricity Industry Safety and Administration Act 1997 and the Occupational Licensing Act 2005 is Tasmanian Networks Pty Ltd. (ABN 24 167357299); and

(b) the amount of the charge for the calendar year 2016 is $3,882,000.

(2) (a) The charge, payable to the Secretary of the Department of Justice, is to be paid into the Electrical Safety Inspection Service Fund administered by the Department of Justice; and

(b) the charge is to be paid in equal monthly instalments on or before the second last working day in each month of 2016 until 31 December 2016 by electronic funds transfer to BSB 037 001 Account No. 267793 in the name of Dept of Justice Operating Account at Westpac Banking Corporation, 28 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, Tasmania.
