the games they have played

much better than last year.

Coach McCleary says, “that

the freshman class is doing

The Indians kicked of their

Homecoming week with their

yearly tradition of the home-

coming parade. It took place

this year at Charles Head Sta-

dium at the Jr. High School.

A large amount of the town

showed up to support the In-

dians, including varsity

teams, AYA teams, football

moms, The Alvarado High

School Golden Warrior Band

and Color guard, and ROTC;

All who were participants in

the parade. There was a pro-

cession made around the

track with awards later won

by the football moms for

Most Creative and the Al-

was most likely the peppiest

of the whole year. There was

even an appearance made by

the Crunk Crew. The Indians

went on to play the Hillsboro

Eagles taking home yet an-

other victory with a final

score of 28-9 over

Hillsboro. But the

night did not end

there. There were

more fun-filled

events held at the

high school. The

homecoming

dance was attend-

ed by many students and was

filled with dancing, socializ-

ing and fun. This year was

another successful Home-

coming for the Alvarado In-

dians.
