Cheerleaders Close Cheer Year With a Bang 💙 💛 Our cheerleaders worked hard last week practicing for their last pep rally and the Junior Panther Classic. At the beginning of the pep rally, Theo Keesee rocked our worlds with a trap set solo like none other. The pep rally also included awesome cheers, a perfectly performed dance, great band tunes, and a dance-off that Mr. Schick got involved in. On Saturday, they cheered, taped up brackets, performed their dance again, and handed out medals. Way to go, ladies!

Leidig and Jerby Honor Their Heroes

On February 3, the Phillips County Christian Foundation awarded iPads to Ethan Leidig and Kaycee Jerby for their awesome essays. Ethan wrote about his dad, and Kaycee wrote about her stepdad. They're pictured below with Dan Klinger and Mrs. Link.

Meg Keeten Named Feb. Rotary Student

Meg Keeten was chosen by her teachers as the Rotary student for the month of February, so she got to go to lunch with Mrs. VanDerVeen yesterday. Way to go, Meg!

Jr. Panther Wrestlers Earn 2nd Place at Classic Last Saturday, our wrestlers worked hard to earn 2nd place as a team. Chase, Brock, and Rylan took first place in their divisions, Riley earned second, Trey got third, and many others won matches to earn points. It was an awesome day!

Positive Panthers ➕ 👏 Readers Build Treehouses 🌳

Last Thursday, Mrs. Thaden's 6th graders had a treehouse-building competition to conclude their study of the book "My Side of the Mountain." It was awesome!

School Choice Essay Contest Winners 🏆 📓

8th graders were asked to write about why they think school is important as part of School Choice Week. Johnny Boeve, Annie Weishaar, and Meredith Jacobs's essays were selected as the best, so they earned Bonus Bucks and got to eat lunch and read their essays at the Chamber meeting on Monday!
