Volunteer Reminders

Summer Hours: As of June 15th, BCM is

closed to clients every Wednesday through

August. Staff will still be in the office but

focused on completing paperwork and

administrative projects. Please remind clients

of our summer office hours as you see them!

*Summer Schedules*

Do you have travel or vacation plans for

the summer? If so, please let Tiffany

know of any changes to your schedule or

if you are unable to volunteer during

your regular shift.. We rely on our

volunteers to serve our clients so please

contact Tiffany at (678) 399-8411 or via

email at tiffanybanks@bcmatlanta.org.

Mandatory Volunteer Training: The

next training session is scheduled for

Saturday, July 16th from 9:30am - noon.

Space is still available! Sign-up with

Tiffany to reserve your seat.

Food Pantry Volunteers: Please

remember the following when working in

the pantry:

Check the expiration date on all

groceries before you put together

the bags.

Only use new Kroger bags when

bagging groceries and always

double bag.

Add one box of cereal to every

family’s groceries.

Intake Volunteers: Client Stories

Needed! As you are working with clients

throughout your shift, please keep in mind

that BCM is looking for compelling client

stories to share with our donors and

partners. If you have a client story to

share, please see Michelle or Najah.

June Volunteer of the Month

CONGRATULATIONS, DAVID JENSEN!

David is a long time BCM volunteer having served as a

Money Management Coach and Intake volunteer.

Currently, David serves as one of our weekly food pantry

volunteers helping to keep our pantry organized and

stocked.

Recently, David helped with training new volunteers in

the pantry and offered suggestions to help improve our

inventory and ordering process.

Volunteer Opportunities

To ensure that everything runs smoothly the day of the

event, we will need a team of volunteers throughout the day

to suppor. Different shifts are available based on your

schedule. If you are interested in volunteering at Tee It Up,
