“Any program in which employees cross international borders to provide services to local clients based primarily on the skills they

utilize in their daily jobs. The projects they work on are non-revenue generating for the

Experience Designed to Ensure Maximum Impact

• 6 weeks of pre-work for all

participants – Weekly 1 hour conference

call / webinar – Topics include: project and

team logistics, country background, social media training, working on cross-cultural teams, etc

– Allows team to maximize impact during their time in country

• Leveraging CDS’s* expertise

to handle on-the-ground logistics

– Manages 500 employees a year on similar projects for IBM and other companies

– Have full-time CDS employees in country in Ghana

– Experts in scoping projects for realistic deliverables and managing relationships with partners

• Impact Evaluation

– Conduct impact surveys for participants and partners immediately upon completion (e.g. What did you learn? What was good / bad? etc)

– Conduct impact surveys 6 months post project (e.g. What was the real impact? What are potential follow-on projects?, etc)
