For college students, early voting just got more convenient as well. This is the first time since aJuly 24 decision by a federal judge that college campuses will be used as early voting sites —giving people even more options to cast a ballot.

Miami-Dade has added Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, Miami Dade College NorthCampus and Florida International University’s main campus near Sweetwater, among the 28 earlyvoting sites in the county. In Broward, early voting is now also at Nova Southeastern University inDavie, making for 22 early voting sites.

Here are some questions and answers for early voters:

When can I start voting?

▪ In Miami-Dade and Broward, early voting will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 22 to Nov. 4.

▪ Early voting in the Keys — Monroe County — runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 22 to Nov. 3.

Early voting for the Nov. 6 general election begins Oct. 22, 2018.

What’s on the ballot?

In the general elections, unlike the primaries, every registered voter can cast a ballot for everyrace. Some cities have their own elections, which means only voters in those areas will have thoseparticular races or issues added to their ballots.

Other statewide races are for U.S. Senate, state attorney general and commissioner of agriculture.Voters will also see races for the state House and state Senate, the U.S. House of Representativesand 12 constitutional amendments including giving voters control over gambling and creating abill of rights for crime victims.

What should I bring or not bring?

A voter must show a picture ID that has a signature. Voters can bring a sample ballot to maketheir decisions easier. Voters are warned not to take pictures in voting booths — it’s against thelaw.

Voters can request mail-in ballots up until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
