The admission process will be carried out as per the normsdecided by Government of Maharashtra/DTE, Maharashtra

I) Candidate should be an Indian National,II) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and

Mathematics compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks, in case of Backward class categories & persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only) in above subjects taken together.

OR Passed Diploma in Engineering and technology / B.Sc. degree from a

recognised university as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks ( 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and persons with Disability candidate belonging to Maharashtra state only);

III Obtained score in MHT-CET/JEE (Main Paper I) Conducted by Competent Authority.

I) The Candidate should be an Indian NationalII) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering & Technology with at least

Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Thane is a 81 year old Charitable Education Trust committed to quality education. It runs Marathi and English Medium Schools, Arts, Commerce, Science, and Law Colleges, Management institute, Polytechnic, IT Center, Advanced Study Center and a Foreign Language Center(French/Japanese/German/Chinese).

Maharshi Parshuram College of Engineering, Velneshwar was started in the year 2012 under the mentorship of Hon’ble Dr. Vijay V. Bedekar with a view of imparting quality education. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai and is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.

Civil engineering, the mother branch, has kept place with the rapid growth in the field of technology. It is that branch of engineering which provides basic amenities for the survival and maintenance of environment. The department has well qualified and experienced staff supported with well equipped laboratories, computing facilities and skilled laboratory staff.

Instrumentation engineering is the specialization focused on the principle and operation of measuring and control instruments which are used in design and configuration of automated processes. A highly interdisciplinary branch- It covers major aspects of chemical, mechanical and electrical and electronics fundamentals.

Electrical Engineering is the basic building block of our life. It deals with the study of different electrical machines and design, power system design and analysis, power flow and control using electronics. This program is involved in almost all modern day technological advances, improvements and products in areas ranging from telephony, instrumentation, computer systems, satellite systems, microelectronics, robotics. The curriculum in computer engineering lay greater emphasis on design and development in addition to software packages. The depa r tmen t has we l l qualified, devoted and dynamic team of teaching staff members.
