VERTICAL LAMP / CONTOURED GLASS LENS

SERIESVRHOUSING - Aluminum housing is �nished to produce a clean, sharp appearance, and designed to ensure weather-tight construction. Top-access cover provides ease of installation and servicing.

TOP COVER FASTENERS - The VR has four captive stainless steel fasteners that secure the top-access cover to the housing.

LENS / GASKET - Contoured clear compact resistant glass lens is sealed to the housing with an EPDM gasket, preventing entry of dust, moisture and insects.

SOCKET - Porcelain mogul-based sockets. All sockets are pulse-rated.

LIGHT SOURCES - Pulse Start Metal Halide, Natural White, Super Metal Halide, Metal Halide,Metal Halide Reduced Envelope, or High Pressure Sodium. Clear lamp is supplied as standard.

BALLASTS - Pulse Start Metal Halide, Full Spectrum, Super Metal Halide, Metal Halide , and High Pressure Sodium �xtures feature a high-power factor type CWA ballast. The 575 watt Natural White Pulse Start Metal Halide �xtures feature HX-HPF type ballasts. All ballasts are designed for -20° F operation.

OPTICS - The VR series is available in a variety of re�ector systems and distribution patterns, all with vertical oriented lamps.VR-M - Type II (2), Type III (3), Perimeter Forward Throw (FP), and Type V (5).VR-L - Type II (2), Type III (3), Perimeter Forward Throw (FP), Type V (5), Automotive Forward Throw (AF), and Automotive Interior (AI).All re�ectors are �eld rotatable, enabling generous �exibility in distribution patterns without moving the �xture.

FASTENERS - All exposed fasteners are black oxide coated stainless steel. Internal fastenersare stainless steel or zinc electro-plated steel.

FINISH - Fixtures are �nished with WLS’s DuraGrip® polyester powder coat �nishing process.The DuraGrip® �nish withstands extreme weather changes without cracking or peeling, and is guaranteed for �ve full years. Standard colors include bronze, black, platinum plus, graphite, satin verde green, metallic silver and white.

BRACKETS - Arm Mount - 2-1/2” x 5-3/8” x 12” length, extruded aluminum bracket shippedstandard with this series. An 8” bracket is available for single or D180 con�gurations, butmust be ordered from the Options column of the ordering chart. A Round Pole Plate (RPP)is required for mounting to 3”-5” round poles. (See Accessories column of the ordering chart)Pole Top - The cast aluminum mounting hub conceals the wiring compartment and mountsdirectly to the unique “pole-top mounting plate”, via a high-strength grade �ve steel bolt with nylon insert and split lock washer for double locking. Support arms consist of four 11/16” O.D.aluminum rods and are pre-wired for ease of installation.

DECAL STRIPING - WLS o�ers optional color-coordinated decals in 9 standard colors to accent the �xture. Decals are guaranteed for �ve years against peeling, cracking, or fading.
