Please mark the start time of each selection when you submit your video.

All excerpts are provided unless otherwise indicated.

Recordings should be unaccompanied.

We also welcome submissions of other repertoire representative of your ability. If you choose to submit

repertoire other than the specified VSOI repertoire, please choose a solo piece (i.e. exposition of a standard

concerto) plus three standard excerpts of your choice.

SCALES

i. C major Scale in quarter notes (tongued), one octave starting on middle C, ascending and

descending. = 120

ii. G major scale in eighth notes (tongued), two octaves, ascending to a whole note on top G.

Do not descend. = 120
