Kids On The Rock (KOTR): Parents, the last 3 numbers on your child's check-in tag will appear on the black box to the right of the stage screen if your child needs you.
Preschool-5th Grade: The lesson this week is “God cares for birds” (Mathew 10:29-31). The Bible Point is “Jesus Cares about the Details.” After check-in, K-5th kids come to the Worship Center for Worship, then will be dismissed to go to the Student Space.
Safe Church Make-Up Training: May 19 will be a make-up training for those who could not attend the last session from 11:30am-1pm—for all those that work with children, students, safety, medical team members and Elders. It is required for all who work with children and students so if you are unable to make it, we will schedule a make-up session with you. We are planning food and desire to offer childcare. We are asking for you to RSVP through the link sent via email or sign up at the Info Table by May 12 (today).

Student Ministry Mission Trip: Please pray for the High School and Middle School Students going to Clendenin, West Virginia on a Summer Mission Trip July 7-13, 2019 to help restore areas devastated from flooding.

May Men’s Book Club: We will be meeting on Saturday, May 18th, 7:30-8:30am, at Bostwick Bakery on Plainfield (4029 Plainfield Ave). We will be discussing "Canoeing the Mountains" by Tod Bolsinger. Community and Family Matters Update on Ramona Hinton: Praise God that her tumor has shrunk more than 50% and her pancreatic cancer markers that started out at 6,333 are now 25! She is thankful for all the prayers and asks us to continue to pray for her for healing and to find what the next chapter of her life looks like. She misses her River Rock Church family and is praying for us and the transition. She continues to live and receive treatment in Seattle with her daughter Kylee and family.
River Rock member Amanda Turner has laryngeal dystonia. Her local doctors are advising her to go to Mayo Clinic. Mayo will not accept her insurance so she is raising the funds. She has created a gofundme page to assist with the fundraising. You can find her page by going to www.gofundme.com and type in “Journey to Mayo Clinic OR find the link on the River Rock Facebook page. Amanda is traveling to Mayo Clinic this next week, so please pray for safe travels. The craft show is May 18th, 10am - 5pm. There are flyers now at the Info Table. Please pray for healing and for God’s provision of all that is needed.
