AC AND GIFTED

If your child has previously qualified for the gifted program, these AC classes may be used as some or all of their required gifted program time and may replace some or all pull-out classes.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Please complete the application at http://goo.gl/forms/JD0YDLiW9C no later than Wednesday, May 13th.

Once all applications are received, Students will be asked to complete a written application and motivation reviewed by a selection committee and a very thorough and objective review of all data is completed, student lists will be determined.

Students may qualify for 0, 1, or 2 AC classes for next school year. We will notify you of our decision with a letter in your child’s final report card.

Students who agree to participate in an AC class will remain in the class all year. (Additional support in the AC class will be provided as needed.)

Previous participation in an AC class is not a factor in determining acceptance.

Participation in the gifted program does not contribute to the selection criteria.
