• Join us for UMC 101: Belief Matters - a short course Sundays at 10:15 in the Lounge. Have you ever wondered if belief matters? I think our belief shapes our values, action, attitude, and life style. This class will help you to grasp distinctive Wesleyan emphases on their belief. Through this class, you will learn more about what it means to be United Methodist in the 21st century in the U.S. Please join us!

• The Sharing Our Grief Group will meet on Wednesdays at 6:15 PM in the Wesley Conference Room through May 10. They are studying “Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn’t Enough” by Kay Warren as she shares the path to experiencing soul-satisfying joy no matter what you’re going through.

• Dish washing soap will be collected as the needed “Just One” item during the month of April. The Methodist Ministries Food Pantry at Park United Methodist Church requested dish soap. At any time you can give by text to “Just One.” Simply text “$20 JUSTONE” (or any dollar amount) to 309-822-4442.

• All are invited for an evening prayer service to be held at Normal First United Methodist on May 4 at 6:00. The focus of this event is to offer our prayers and support for those in our community, and the state of Illinois at large, who are directly affected by the on-going state budget impasse.

• Wesley is looking for an Early Childhood Coordinator. This is a part-time position and has the primary responsibilities of coordinating childcare for Wesley church functions and overseeing the operation of the Early Childhood rooms (birth – five year olds) on Sunday morning. Resumes and a letter of interest must be submitting to Myrna Simpson, [email protected] by May 10. More information including a detailed list of job responsibilities can be found on the News page of the Wesley website.

• The Healing Rides 2017 Season will begin on June 1! Rides will be offered Tuesday - Sunday in the afternoon. Call the church office, 827- 8046, to schedule your ride! For more information, go to healingrides.com.
