What are the NETS? The National Educational Technology

Standards (NETS) are the standards for learning, teaching, and leading in the digital age and are widely recognized and adopted worldwide.

The NETS standards are specifically designed to evaluate student and teacher skills and knowledge needed to learn and teach in an increasingly global and digital world.

National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) Teachers

1. Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity Teachers use their knowledge of subject matter, teaching and

learning, and technology to facilitate experiences that advance student learning, creativity, and innovation in both face-to-face and virtual environments.

2. Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments
