The instructors that appear on the following pages have met the requirements of the state of Washington to provide the 8-hour initial firearms certification training and qualifications as certified firearms instructors for Private Security, Private Investigators, and Bail Bond Recovery Agents pursuant to RCW and WAC. Instructors with the correct credentials and program issued photo ID are titled “Private Security Certified Firearms Instructor for WSCJTC” pursuant to WAC 139-37. Instructors that do not comply with program policies and WAC can be removed from the program at any time. Written complaints regarding instructors are to be sent via email to [email protected]. All complaints received will be reviewed. Instructors listed with Level 1 Scoped Rifle Instructor active status, may or may not be PS Certified Firearms Instructors for WSCJTC as not a required part of RCW or WAC. LEOSA Program – per RCW any instructor in Washington can provide the qualification for LEOSA. Many agencies do in-house LEOSA qualifications for their personnel. The LEOSA instructors on the last page of this directory are not inclusive of all programs that provide the qualification. The WSCJTC LEOSA Program will only accept LEOSA application packets from active LE Instructors that have completed a WSCJTC firearms instructor course either via the law enforcement program or the Firearms Certificate program within the last three years. Note: Some law enforcement and other PS Certified Firearms Instructors may not be found on this list for privacy reasons. Please contact the WSCJTC via email at [email protected] to verify if the instructor is a valid PS Certified Firearms Instructor for WSCJTC.

LEOSA Program – per RCW any instructor in Washington can provide a LEOSA qualification to a retired peace officer that is a resident of Washington State with the qualification from WSCJTC. Usually law enforcement agencies do in-house LEOSA qualifications for their personnel only. The law enforcement instructors/agencies on this page are not inclusive of all programs that provide the qualification. The WSCJTC LEOSA Program will only accept LEOSA application packets signed by active LE Instructors or PS Certified Firearms Instructors that have completed a WSCJTC firearms instructor course within the last three years. **All PS Certified Firearms Instructors for WSCJTC listed prior to this page in the directory are available to complete LEOSA qualifications.
