Message from the Founder

Dear Friends and family,

It’s that time again! We are gearing up for our 12th Annual 5k. We decided

that it’s time to brand ourselves with a new name for our event. We will now

be known as the “Jersey Shore 5K for kidneys & 2-mile walk.” I hope you

like the name like we do.

So much has happened since our event last year. We were able to raise in

excess of $80,000 for research at the University of Alabama-Birmingham

and an additional $10,000 towards the GIGA Kids study at Columbia

University. Both of these facilities have answers about IGAN and we are

looking at human trial in the near future for some of these therapies. All of

this would not be possible with out your support and we are so grateful to

you for believing in our mission.

We hope you will join us on Sunday June 12, 2016 for our “12th Annual

Jersey Shore 5k for Kidneys”. We promise to make the day really fun with

lots of food, gift auction, prizes and entertainment. Your participation on

that day drives me all year long! So lace up those sneakers, bring your

family and friends, dogs and your beach chairs and let’s make a difference

in the lives of so many with kidney disease.

This year’s walk will be held at the Wall Township Municipal Complex, 2700 Allaire Road, Wall, NJ 07719.
