To help stimulate the brain and keep the mind sharp,
participants enjoy memory and trivia activities.
“Stay positive, connect with others and stay active”
is the theme for the day. Participants are encouraged
to express their feelings and emotions by writing
notes to friends, loved ones and staff.
Chris Freytag leads participants in a 15-minute guided meditation segment to help balance body, mind and spirit, as well as restore
concentration, mental clarity and inner peace.
Participants share their own stories about past jobs or work they have done, and list as many
occupations as they can for each letter
of the alphabet.
Participants wrap up the week with a fun social event to celebrate their success during the past week and spend time visiting with family,
friends and caregivers.
