For more information, visit WalkWithAegis.com presented by September 20–24, 2010 MONDAY September 20 Intellectual Wellness TUESDAY September 21 Emotional Wellness WEDNESDAY September 22 Spiritual Wellness THURSDAY September 23 Occupational Wellness FRIDAY September 24 Social Wellness To help stimulate the brain and keep the mind sharp, participants enjoy memory and trivia activities. “Stay positive, connect with others and stay active” is the theme for the day. Participants are encouraged to express their feelings and emotions by writing notes to friends, loved ones and staff. Chris Freytag leads participants in a 15-minute guided meditation segment to help balance body, mind and spirit, as well as restore concentration, mental clarity and inner peace. Participants share their own stories about past jobs or work they have done, and list as many occupations as they can for each letter of the alphabet. Participants wrap up the week with a fun social event to celebrate their success during the past week and spend time visiting with family, friends and caregivers.
