Jesse Cline(Artistic Director) Artistic Director at The Media Theatre since 1994. For Rockwell Productions (’94-2000) he directed 50+ musicals including West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Carousel, and Oklahoma! In ’96 produced world premiere musical The Molly Maguires. Since 2000, has maintained his position as the theatre company transferred to not-for-profit status (Media Mu-sic Theatre Company) and lead the company to Award status (Broadway World’s “Best Theatre Company of Philadelphia”, Barrymore recognition for Excellence in Theatre, Philadelphia Inquirer’s “Best Of” honors, as well as honors from Main Line Today, Daily Times, and 20 Reader’s Choice honors from various media outlets). Productions: Philly premieres of Thrill Me, The Wild Party, Rent, Aspects of Love, and Aida. His production of Mame starring Andrea McArdle moved to Bucks County Playhouse in 2013 in which he worked with Tony Award winning producer Jed Bernstein. The show received 9 Broadway World Awards for “Best of Philly Theatre”. Previously Artistic Director for Millbrook Playhouse. As an actor toured nationally with Robert Goulet in Camelot and Ann Blythe in Showboat. BFA in Theatre from Virginia Com-monwealth University; graduate work at Bowling Green University. Studied with Sanford Meisner at Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in NYC. Founded Media Theatre’s youth education programs, its New School, and Summer Camp. Brought Media Theatre headliners including Betty Buckley, Ann Crumb, Justin Guarini, Judy Kaye, Andy Karl, Kyle Lowder, and David Miller to name a few. Winner: Best Director of A Musical (2013), Best Director of A Play (2014) Broadway World/ Philadelphia.

Patrick Ward(Executive Director) at Media Theatre since ‘94. Di-rected acclaimed productions of Carnival and Big River, plus The Frog Prince and Aladdin. Worked off-Broadway with Stanley Brechner’s award win-ning American Jewish Theatre on such projects as The Immigrant, Only Kidding, Education of Hyman Kaplan, and I Ought To Be In Pictures. Has been a producer, actor, stage manager and director work-ing on more than 150 productions. During the ’02-’03 season in association with the Society for the Performing Arts, he produced Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical, Secret Garden, and Joseph…Dreamcoat. He continues to produce and oversees the manage-ment of the entire organization.

working with several performing arts organizations/ venues throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region, including The Media Theatre, Opera Delaware, RTC, Longwood Gardens, & more. Select credits include Freud’s Last Session, Mesh o Rakkosh, Eurydice, (Lighting-Bootless Stageworks; Kushilob; Wilming-ton Drama Leauge), Star Wars: A New Musical Hope, The Light in the Piazza (Projections - Bootless Stage-works), & Side Show (Props - Media Theatre). Gradu-ated from the University of Delaware in 2014 with a BA in Music Management & Theater Production.

Ryan Morris(Master Electrician) currently works full time as a light-ing technician with Pin Point Lighting, house electri-cian at the Tower Theater, and master electrician for the Media Theater. A proud member of IATSE Local 8, he hopes to continue to use his skills to enrich the arts community in the Philadelphia region.

Steven Spera(Lighting Designer) Steven is a Chicagoland native and is a MFA candidate in lighting design at the University of Virginia. He recently designed Bridges of Madison County at Media. Previous designs include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (WSR) – win-ner of Broadway World Chicago for Best Lighting

Design (Resident Non-Equity), The Arctic Circle and a recipe for Swedish pancakes (UVa), Luv (HTTF), Violet (HTTF), Beehive (WSR), The Other Place (Live Arts)

Jennifer Povish(Costume Designer) thrilled to return to Media after de-signing Bridges of Madison County, A Christmas Story and Romeo and Juliet. Jennifer is the resident cutter/draper at Villanova Theatre where she also recently de-signed Marisol and Michael and Edie. She previously worked as an apprentice at the Walnut Street Theatre. She graduated from Philadelphia University with a B.S. in fashion design and does custom evening wear and wedding dresses in the Philadelphia area.

Katie Yamaguchi(Wardrobe Supervisor) fashion and costume designer in the Philadelphia area. She graduated from Moore Col-lege of Art & Design, with a B.F.A. in fashion design and a minor in textile design. She recently costume designed Ghost, Hello, Dolly!, Gypsy, and Billy Elliot at the Media Theatre.

Tim Haney(Stage Manager) Been employed here since ‘98, when seen in world premiere musical Molly Maguires. Has been in many Broadway Series and Children’s Series shows here. Credits also include Director, Instructor.
