2020: Vivid Description

Ten years from now, our foundation will be known as the

worlds most environmentally friendly art institution, being a living and breathing example of an organisation that is not only wholly operationally

sustainable but through further acting as a leader of societal change by sharing this vision and values with the local, regional and international community by

continued creative education initiatives.

They started with…

The Wanås Foundation culture is compatible with the vision and underpins

Wanås as a sustainable institution.

An art culture that grew out of a strong loyalty to nature,

education and visitor experience

Wanås is about the Wachtmeister Family history and the connection

with the physical grounds and castle at Wanås

A staff united through awareness and appreciation of the Wanås roots with a flexible and

sustainable outlook for the future of contemporary art at Wanås.

Locally and internationally connected, inspiring and educating the public in a natural setting.
