BRIDGING EMERGENCY FOOD AND COMMUNITY ISSUES ON CHICAGO’S NORTHWEST SIDE
MISSION
In 2009, La Casa Norte (LCN) founded the Northwest Food Partners Network (NFPN) with funding and guidance from the Chicago Community Trust. NFPN quickly became a closely-knit network of organizations running food pantries, free hot meal programs, and mobile produce sites. We seek to ensure that every resident has access to quality food by increasing the capacity of member organizations to serve their communities. We also provide a forum for catalyzing cooperative anti-hunger action.
